Classic car dealer “games.” I had a great experience with Tyler at first. He showed me a few cars, we test drove one, and we were able to narrow down a vehicle that I could see myself in. They made me a lowball offer on my trade in, when I countered and showed them Kelly Blue Book quote I received at a higher number they just showed me their report on the car. At this point, he goes back to speak with manager who still has my keys. He’s back there for about 15-20 minutes as the manager is working with another customer. At this point, I’ve received no indication of what’s going on, so I go back into the office and ask for my key to my car back after the other customer left. The manager refuses to give me my key until the 4th time I ask. I have no idea what this guys problem was. He doesn’t even flinch or move towards it the first time I ask. I’m not sure how often this tactic works to keep people in the building, but refusing to give me key so I can’t leave and am “forced” to negotiate on your car is a slimy tactic.

I have leased from here 3 times and am wildly disappointed in my last experience. A payment came out of my account for the Mazda that was no longer in my possession. I called and emailed to let them know and after some time they acknowledged the error and said I would get a check reimbursement. That check never came. They have now claimed two times that my check was coming and after about 3 months I finally attempted to contact customer service outside of the dealership. Multiple people from my family have also purchased vehicles from there but we won't return. I will update IF and when I get the check.

Junior and Gabby saved the sale as it started very rough with other salesperson. Junior was nothing but professional and helpful. I picked up the car and Gabby went over car in detail with easy explanations I would recommend Junior in a heart beat. He and Gabby deserve 5 stars but original unprofessional salesperson cost a 5 star rating overall

This experience I have had with one of your stores has been anything but pleasing.
I have purchased a car from your Mazda store in Monroeville over a month ago now and it has been nothing but hoops I’ve had to jump through.
I was informed the night of coming to look at the car that I wouldn’t be able to sign for the vehicle that night because finance was closed and I was happy to come back. As the day of signing came I was contacted in a panic that I needed other documents from my co-signer and came to the conclusion to move onto another dealership. I had full intentions to go elsewhere at this point. Upon me informing the office of the dysfunction and I was not pleased and looking to go elsewhere they offered for me to take the vehicle on a dealer plate which I accepted. So I came in for the 2nd visit. I came back again to sign all paperwork and was informed that the dealership had lost the spare key to the vehicle and they would contact me after finding it. When I was reached out to in regards to the vehicle it was not for me to come and retrieve the key but instead that they had not filed my registration and that I was needed to come back and finish signing additional documents. At this point it was my 4th time coming to this location over a month after financing the vehicle. I was promised a key would be made for me and I just needed to schedule an appointment with the service department. My salesperson stated she had gotten me on for my requested appointment @7:30 on Wednesday 9/4/24 for which this would be my 5th time back here for ONE vehicle purchase. Upon arrival I had no appointment in the system and no one was aware of my situation. I wish I just followed my gut and had backed out of this deal completely as the process with this store needs some serious rectification. There is no organization and no real set process in place to make it easier on both parties. I truly will recommend against this store and don’t know if I’d ever buy or recommend #1 Cochran again.

THE WORST DEALER EVER...
Just wants the sale.
Junior the salesman, got the sale, and when ask to have things fixed, that were promised to be taken care of. Junior, and the manager Brian won't call you back to schedule the repairs (Brakes) Transmission, electrical issues promised. Going on 4 months now.
If there was an option for zero stars I would have checked it.

My salesperson was candace bowman and she did everything in her day fo please us just short of dropping over!! Always gracious and pleasant and very professional. This is the second vehicle that we purchased from her specifically and she made the whole experience so easy and almost relaxing (and i dont do well in public situations, but she made it feel comfortable.) Stop in and see candace, she’ll be the 5 foot blond with the big smile!!
