They double charged me. My regular charge plus a $300 deposit. I have great credit. Of course my bank locked the card. Money then had to be refunded. Had to be run again several days later. Only the rich live on credit. Stop the debit card bias.

This is one of the worst truck rental companies. How are you going to tell me you don't have a rental available when I reserved one? That is the whole purpose of a reservation. Don't even waste your time with this company. Enterprise was way better and way cheaper!

Cheated me. Brought car back with full tank and they said it was empty then said too much time had passed so had to go through corporate to resolve. Took literally two days to get anyone on the phone they then said I’d need to prove i filled the tank.

Selected a cargo van online to be reserved for same day pick-up. They say it's available at their lot, I make the reservation, and get an email confirmation that the vehicle is reserved. I show up to pick up the vehicle and there are no vans on site at all, even though they confirmed a reservation. The "manager", who has no business being in that position, wouldn't even take responsibility over the fact that his lot inventory shows vans available. He proceeds to tell me I can go pick up a van on a lot 30 minutes away. If you need a rental, choose one of the many other reputable renters in monroeville. I tried tried give this place a chance, and they don't deserve anyone's business.

I rented a 16’ moving truck 6 weeks before my move. I got a 24 hour confirmation/reminder, and I thought everything was great. Then I got an email at 7:30pm THE NIGHT BEFORE MY MOVE stating that there wasn’t a truck there at all for me, and that I should have been notified about this. Well, I never was, and I was supposed to move in 12 hours without a truck now. Called customer service as instructed, and the agent was so unhelpful!! He told me that when you rent a truck, there is no 100% guarantee they will have it for you. Pretty sure that’s something that should have been made aware ahead of time, so I could have saved myself a lot of stress scrambling other means together. I was also told that I would get a call within 2 hours (so ten at night) from a manager WHICH BEVER HAPPENED. I’m glad Uhaul is so dependable because they had a truck last minute for me and even gave me a discount after they heard of this issue from your company. WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!! I will never recommend Budget to anyone.

Never use Budget! Reserved a 12 Passenger van for a wedding party and was called a half an hour before i was to pick it up and told it wont be available. There only answer was they where sorry. Worst customer service. Use Enterprise

Budget is the absolute worst. My fiancé and I booked a moving truck 4 days in advance and when we went to pick it up today they told us that they did not have any trucks on the lot. The poor woman working at the desk seemed devastated and it wasn't her fault. She told us that they over book on the website and people show up to no truck. WELL.... I called customer service and got the “sincere apology†(total BS) and the rep told me it would be ~2 hour wait until a manager could get back to me in regards to other trucks. They called within the hour and said they had a truck 15 miles away that we would have to pay for. My fiancé was politely telling the manager that he was disappointed and we no longer wanted the truck AND THEN THE MANAGER HUNG UP ON HIM MID SENTENCE!!!!!!!! ARE YOU SERIOUS????????? The manager didn't give a name SURPRISE SURPRISE. What a horrible company. If their customer service is this bad imagine how they treat their employees!!! Moral of the story: never ever use budget. And for the record I only gave one star because I had to in order to post this.
