Been on hold over 40 minutes. Since getting Rite Aid customers this pharmacy has gone down hill. They don’t answer the phone, lines are never less than 15-20 people long and the staff can’t keep up. Shame on GE for being so greedy they’d rather work the staff into the ground than say “we can’t handle this amount of customers” and pass them to other pharmacies.

I'd give it zero if I could. Absolutely impossible to get a hold of someone on the phone, they just flat out will not answer. No matter what time of day you call, how long you wait on the line or how many times you try calling. You literally cannot get a hold of a person no matter how hard you try. Which is made even worse by the fact their app and automated phone system is only up to date about half the time. You can't even leave a message to let someone know about your issue.
I really can't believe giant eagle would want to be represented by such a terrible pharmacy partner.

Lines are always long and medication always out of stock, I’ve been with GE well over ten years. In the process of transferring to another store.

Friendly helpful staff, inside and outside picking up. In the drive thru pharmacy they’re very patient and kind, being they’re always busy it’s awesome how they still take their time with each individual person addressing their needs. Thank you, Giant Eagle Team.

Tips for you newbies at Giant Eagle Pharmacy. 1) Forget the phone call. It is a waste of time. 2)They will send you a text when your prescription is ready. 3) You are going to wait no matter what. Don’t take it out on the people that work there. 4) I always go through the door marked ‘pharmacy’. It is always open.

Employees are friendly but the pharmacy is always understaffed and they never have stuff pin stock. Been waiting for 2 weeks for them to fill a med called down multiple times and was told either it was out or just couldn't get anybody on the phone it is ridiculous. And it's really not that surprising because their grocery stores and gas stations also are always understaffed and they don't even keep the self checkout lanes open it's crazy. Still pay really high prices like a high-end grocery store and their food is no better and stand in line longer than I do in Walmart. GE lost my prescription business for all five of the people in my household, we get over $3,500 worth of meds every month. Our prescriptions were transferred here when rite aid closed. I just finally got everything moved over to CVS because Giant eagle couldn't even transfer the prescriptions over and after I tried this three times, I had to contact everyone's doctors to write all new prescriptions which was a nightmare. Giant eagle knew this was happening for months, had a golden opportunity to grow their business if they made investment and hired the laid off rite aid workers. They wanted all the money but they didn't want to hire any more workers, typical short sighted corporate greed.

Love convenience of driving up.
Hate parking and walking entire store to stand in line since the closed entrance nearest pharmacy.
Staff are very professional and personable.

They do a wonderful job here, good customer service, well supplied, try their hardess and do the best that they can being that they are short-staffed. This means that the lines are insane if you don't know the less busy times. Then it does take a long time if the lines are long. It does happen. I understand it's hard to get through a drive-thru line, as well as an inside line when understaffed. So whoever is in charge of hiring and whoever has to approve more employees to be hired should get more employees for the busy stores like the monroeville Giant Eagle Pharmacy.(or if you have the employees already, scheduled them better to help with the busy times.) All in all I say Thank-you to the team for the pharmacy for everything they do that's in their power.
P.s. hire more employees for this store. Because skeleton crews are insane and not right or fair for the other employees and departments at the busy stores.

Lines inside and outside in drive through are extremely horrible. Feels like you’re waiting for Christmas and it’s only March

Count on spending a half hour in the drive thru line but don't count on your prescription being ready once you finally make it to the window. Most of all don't expect any help outside of a yes or no answer.

Horrible customer service at this store. Manager Mike in curbside pickup did not help us at all when our pickup order was missing items. Had to drive 40 mins back to the store to pickup an item and Mike said he could not even give us $5 off our order for compensation.

Had to come back twice because they did not bother to check their voice mails from the doctors. I made them go check and it magically appeared. The only bright spot was a young lady named Anika who was pleasant, helpful,, friendly and smiling in spite of how busy it was.She needs a raise. If I had a business I would hire her.

I’ve been going to this pharmacy for most of my life, BUT lately the drive-thru has been moving at a very slower pace. Sometimes it’s better to just go inside…but the lines are just as slow because there’s only one person at the cash register.

Very Busy!! Still decent service because a lot of people work here. You will have to wait in line, unfortunately
