Guitar Center is a great store with a huge selection of amps, drums, keyboards, recording gear, DJ equipment, lighting, and more from top brands. It offers lots of instruments like pianos and, of course, guitars, plus every adjunct piece of equipment like amps, speakers, picks, straps, cases, and strings. The store is well-organized and a great place to browse. The people are always friendly and very helpful, allowing customers to give anything a 'test drive' without getting hassled. Many customers report perfect experiences when buying their first guitar or an acoustic guitar, leaving absolutely happy. The store also provides music lessons, which are knowledgeable and informative. Instructors do a great job, especially with younger students, keeping lessons engaging by changing songs and asking what they want to learn. Parents can wait in a little lobby where a monitor lets them watch the lesson. While the store is sometimes very busy, that is because they have good stuff. Additionally, they have a really endless supply online with fast shipping and good prices. Staff members are recommended for their effort to get customers the best deal. It is an awesome and fun store.

It's a great place to pick up odds and ends and accessories but they do not stock very many high end guitars. There are always gyms in the used section, though!
