Quick and Easy. They are friendly and took care of as soon as possible, either it was dropping off or picking up a rental.

Made reservations online through their website. Got everything done and gave me a price for the 2 weeks that I needed it. Drove over an hour away since they was the closest that AAA deals with and when I got to the shop they tried to charge me $500 deposit for the car on top of the price I already got online. No where on the website does it say anything about being charged that much for a security deposit, no where in any of my emails does it say about being charged that much for a security deposit. When I tried to show the guy everything that I got in my emails he was completely unprofessional and just kept pointing to a sign saying “it’s our policy” very rudely and very loud. The sign he was pointing to was the smoking policy!!! Never again am I trying to rent a vehicle through hertz! I would rather walk to work in this cold weather then deal with them again!!!!

Nice selection of vehicles. Staff took the time to explain how to drive a Tesla for the first time. Didn't surprise us with hidden fees or charge us fur being 2 minutes late. I'd look to them in the future if I needed to rent a vehicle.

Disappointed & dissatisfied with recent car rental from Hertz. Booked online 2 wks before & requested a 7-passenger vehicle. When I arrived at the Murraysville, PA location, they gave me a Durango that could only seat 6. Literally no room for a 7th. One rep said I could try switching it at downtown or airport location. I asked him to try downtown location 1st because it was closer than the airport. He pretended to call someone and never mentioned the downtown location. When he finished his pretend phone conversation, he said I was all set. But I had to drive the rented Durango the 35 miles to the airport. When I got there, a truly unpleasant Hertz employee said I needed a Switching Number. He couldn’t make the exchange without it. He said I had to call the roadside assistance number on the back of the rental contract envelope. He couldn’t make the call for me. Additionally, he said I couldn’t leave THEIR vehicle in THEIR return lot while I made the call because “it was a liability issue.” said to drive the vehicle to airport cell phone lot to make the call.Call #1 was to the Murraysville location. I spoke to the person I originally dealt with. He said he couldn’t help me either. Call #2 was to their roadside assistance. First attempt was unsuccessful. Resulted in being disconnected after being led down a maze of menu opts that literally took me in circles. Second attempt resulted in getting some guy that put me on hold for a good 8-10 minutes, only to tell me that he was going to transfer me to another dept that MAY be able to help me. I refused to let him transfer me unless he was positive it was the correct one. He put me on hold again, only to come back with the same response. I hung up, drove the vehicle to the airport’s extended parking lot and walked inside to the Hertz rental counter where I proceeded to explain everything that happened so far.The ladies at the counter were surprised to hear what the jerk from the return lot told me. They even knew exactly who it was! These ladies were very helpful, understanding empathetic. They helped me get the vehicle I needed! On a sidenote: One of them noticed that there was a document in my rental envelope that had a Equinox on it. She thought I had already switched a vehicle at the Murraysville location. I assured her that I knew nothing about it. So evidently the rep at Murraysville tried to cover up a mistake they made from the get-go, without even telling me.When she told me about the Equinox, that was pretty much the straw that broke the camel’s back. I was ready to just walk away and go to another car rental agency. But she was great. She got me the vehicle I needed. I got the impression that whatever she did didn’t follow standard procedure, but she got it done and I am forever grateful. She personally spoke to the rental return employees while I went to get the Durango from the extended parking lot. Thankfully, I did not have to deal with [J***] again!I must say that this was the absolute worst car rental experience I have ever had. If it weren’t for the ladies at the airport rental counter, my vacation plans could have been completely ruined. My day certainly was. The whole ordeal took almost 4 hours which really messed up my schedule. This whole thing could have been avoided if the Murraysville employees had the correct vehicle to begin with.Naturally, I wrote a letter of complaint to Hertz. Their response was, “Your experience was certainly contrary to what we are aiming to provide. Rest assured that this will be documented and shared with the management.” To add injury to insult, they didn’t offer a thing to make this up to me….a discount, a free upgrade, a partial refund. I think that’s the least they could do for the great stress and inconvenience I was subjected to.I swear I will never, ever, ever, rent a vehicle from Hertz ever again.

Staff wasn't crazy friendly but they did accept same-day rental, so for my car emergency they did me better than two different enterprises I went to. The Ford escape they hooked me up with was quite nice. My other gripe is that despite having rental blocks by 24 hours rather than business days, they only allow extensions by purchasing an entire extra day, so missing my drop off time by 2 hours meant paying for quite a bit more than I had hoped for.

While overall I feel Hertz and rental companies, in general, are so pricey these days, I liked my vehicle and service from this location. They had me in and out during both pickup, and drop off, in less than five minutes! The guys at the desk asked me about my trip before leaving, and I was impressed when I dropped off, that they remembered my destination, asked me about the trip, how the kids were in the car, etc.The one negative I have is that they didn't walk me through the vehicle before or after the trip. While sometimes rental companies are too long-winded in this process, I do like when they show you some of the intricacies of the car, gas level, any dings or dents, etc, and then follow up with the same thing upon return. It took me 30 seconds to figure out how to put the dang thing in drive, and another 30 to turn the parking brake off!

These idiots are incredibly unprofessional. Received notice of $1000 of damage in which there were no incidents while under my control. They are impossible to get a hold of. Nothing is ever explained, the cars provided are absolute junk. These people don’t deserve to work anywhere. Take your business elsewhere. Can’t wait to sue them.

First tried to rent a car through the website and was offered a location that was no longer in service. Then was given a vehicle that clearly had been in an accident. And then I found out I was charged $18.29 for showing up early. They are impossible to get a person to talk to.

Very disappointed. I normally rent with another company but was set up by my insurance company with Hertz. I had an email confirmation of the booking from my insurance company that said they would reach out to me. They did not. So I called several times to this location to make sure and could not get through. I called my insurance company back and told them that nobody called and I tried calling them with no success. They assured me that I had a reservation and just to make sure that I got there within business hours. I did and was greeted by a sign that said they had moved! Fortunately I had enough time to get to the new location. Once there, the half baked agent advised that they had no car available (despite the lot being full) and this new location wasn’t technically fully in operation. Fortunately my “ride” was able to wait. This is the second time I opted to give Hertz my business and was disappointed. Poor service is going to catch up to them, which is evident by the many bad reviews.

Pleasant experience. They accidentally gave my rental to someone else so they gave me something even better and we had a wonderful trip!

The Vehicle I rented had a faulty under carriage cover. Noticed that there was a dragging sound a few days after the rental began. Part of the cover had disconnected from the body of the car. I reported the issue as soon as I was aware of it. I was asked by the Monroeville location employees to drive the car 19 miles to their shop then to the repair location a couple miles after that. I sat at the repair location for about an hour on my day off from work while I waited for the faulty vehicle repairs to be made. Then I drove another 22 miles back to my home where I started. I asked for some type of discount based on my lost time, milage, and the gas it took to take this venture. The manager placed blame on me for the faulty cover. She referred to how long it took me to communicate the concern. I obviously reported once I realized there was a problem. For whatever reason out of my control the cover disconnected from the vehicle. The manager offered a coupon for my next rental. I told her if she could not apply it to the current bill there was no point and that it is was a failed attempt to resolve the issue. Long story short another unprofessional/ghetto car rental services comparable to Enterprise Rentals...
