Lokay Lanes has been a well-known bowling alley in Monroeville for over 70 years. Originally called A&B Bowling Alley and later Mosside Lanes, it gained fame as a filming location for the movie "Kingpin" in the 1990s. In 2000, it was bought by Jack and Jim Lokay, who renovated and reopened it in 2001 as Lokay Lanes with help from family. The business was family-run for over 20 years, and in 2022, John and Justin Lokay, the sons of one of the owners, took over with the goal of creating a fun, family-centered entertainment spot for both sport and recreational bowling. The facility is appreciated for its friendly staff, clean environment, reasonable prices, and good food. Many guests enjoy the bar, karaoke nights, and birthday celebrations held there. Visitors mention that the staff is helpful and accommodating, especially when planning events. The alley has transitioned from mechanical to string pins, which some players feel has affected their scores. Overall, Lokay Lanes is highly recommended for a fun and enjoyable experience, with many customers returning multiple times for the friendly atmosphere and good times.

I had a Bahama Mama; it was good. The food selection could have been better, but overall, it was cool. Clean bathrooms.

They have Strings attached to the pins so you do get some string action on occasion which can help sometimes. Lovely people work there though, always very kind and the bar setup is great as well. Always fun bowling for league nights.
