Didn't have an appointment, but was able to be seen within 5 minutes. Got my diagnosis and prescription very quickly. I'll be stopping here rather than urgent care, which always has a long wait, from now on.

The nurse had absolutely no idea how to take blood! She tried multiple times but was unsuccessful. So I ended up going to quest and they got it on their first try. How does a nurse not know how to take blood?

There was no wait. The NP Michelle was a consummate professional and I was amazed how easy the visit was and how respected I felt! I guess it was partly amazing because of how bad I felt after the UPMC Urgi Care had just sent me away because I was on Medicare only. Not just that but because I complained and needed to call home then went back in, they were having a good laugh. I don’t know what they were laughing about. But it felt like they were adding insult to injury. I did find my Cigna card and they started to go through their admit process. Bu then I wanted nothing to do with them. Thank goodness I found MinClinic Monroeville. There was no admit process that took up time. I was treated so well I asked if they take people as Patients. Thanks CVS you have a great system and a wonderful staff!!

I am completely disgusted with healthcare if I'm being honest. I work in the medical field and I understand insurances can be difficult but we ALWAYS look up an insurance and VERIFY that we are IN NETWORK prior to performing any testing... they told me that my vaccines were free but must not have actually verified first because I was indeed out of network and am now responsible for the whole bill. Had I gone to my PCP it would have been free for me but that was never relayed to me. Customer service was no help. They told me that because the service was already rendered I am now responsible for payment. The only reason the service was performed in the first place was because I was told by THEIR STAFF that it was covered. Very unprofessional. I will not be back.

I would give it no stars if I could. I scheduled an appointment online for 3:20pm. I received an email saying wait in designated parking lot and I will receive a phone call when they’re ready. 20 minutes later no call. I called the store and was told I have to wait for them to call. An hour went by I called again and was told they are agents and that I would have to call someone inside the store. I went inside the store and informed them I have been waiting a long time. They Asked me has it been at least two hours. I said yea and they told me they are different from minute clinic and gave me a phone number to call. Fed up with these unprofessional people I went to Med Express and did a walk in. Unfortunately I had to pay Med Express I was hoping for free testing since my funds have been low lately! CVS waisted my time, energy, and gas. I’m assuming staff left work early. Maybe there isn’t management around to oversee what these people are doing but I can’t believe how unprofessional they are.

This place is inside/blended with the CVS store. They have lobby, 1 small room (I was there for Covid Vaccine), and an exam room. I felt not really comfortable in their lobby because its wide open to the store. But anyway, their staff were friendly and really nice. I just need couples minutes to finish my procedures there.

Horrible! I had step 1 of my TB test required for work administered Thur. They HAVE to be read before 72 hours and the 2nd part administered at this time. Now late into Saturday I get an email stating they canceled my apt for the TB test and my Covid test. Now I am unable to get an apt anywhere else on such short notice and for a Sunday at that! Very unprofessional! Would not use again and definitely would not recommend!

Tried being seen here on June 21 2019. Clinic is to be open until 7:30. And is supposed to accept patients up until 7:15. Arrived at 6:50 waited behind a lady getting her daughter a baseball physical. The practioner working saw us waiting to use the kiosk when she let the lady and her daughter in the exam room. Went to use the kiosk and it wouldn't allow an appointment to be made. The practioner must have closed the kiosk prior to 7:00. The practitioner saw the girl for 13min, when she came out I said hey this isn't working. She said they were closed. I let her know we were there before 7:00 and the sign says you can sign in until 7:15 it was only 7:10 at that time. There was no patient in front of us either. She said she would have to see us tomorrow. The practioner was neither friendly or considerate the only thing she obviously cared about was getting done for the day. DON'T GO HERE IF YOU NEED CARE. As a healthcare professional myself I know the stress of the job. But never would I turn someone away.

I work for CVS and still would not recommend this place. I went in for a routine wellness screening mandated by CVS for insurance and was treated horribly by the NP there. They were unable to take me for a health screening, which takes all of 10-15 minutes, when they did not "close" for another 2 hours. The NP made very condescending and snide remarks as I walked away. If I didn't have to go here for the screening I would never go. STAY AWAY .

I like this particular CVS very much. In fact, I'd have given it 5 stars except I do get annoyed with their ExtraBucks Rewards system. More on that below. Pros: 1) Friendly Cashiers 2) Stocked well 3) This location has a MinuteClinic for aches/pains/woes. This is worth 4 stars all by itself. Recently, I took advantage of it for a sinus infection. My other options -- Teladoc, Urgent Care facility, or waiting for an appt. with my doctor which is not gonna happen while I'm still sick and is not in a convenient location. Advantages to MinuteClinic? Many -- open til 7:30 on a weeknight, no line this particular visit, no waiting in the office and then again in the private room, quick in and out with a diagnosis and recommendations -- one prescription and two over the counter suggestions, all available within steps and minutes of my diagnosis, plus a flu shot and no upfront payment at the clinic -- they bill my insurance company. Way to go! Cons: 1) Would like the store to be open 24 hours; alas, it is not. 2) Extrabucks Rewards system is quirky. I guarantee that I don't get my online coupons applied all the time. By the time I discover this, I'm back at home so I'm not going to take the time to return to the store. 3) Pharmacy dept is not very happy to ring up purchases that are non-pharmacy related and don't usually ask for your ExtraBucks Rewards card number; you have to remember to apply it.
