We visited Patel Brothers in Pittsburgh, PA, last month, and it was a really disappointing experience. We purchased Patel’s Fresh Kitchen “Homemade Chappati”, and by the very next day, the pack was covered in mold (photos attached).
Even before that, our in-store experience wasn’t great. We had initially wanted to get some samosas and paneer naan, but the staff member at the counter seemed distracted—he was watching videos on his phone (with gloves on) while handling food. When we asked him politely to change his gloves, he did grab new ones but was still glued to his phone, and one glove fell to the floor—which he then picked up and tried to wear. That was the point we decided to walk away from the hot food entirely and just buy prepackaged items instead.
Unfortunately, even the prepackaged chapatis turned out unsafe and spoiled within 24 hours.
Safe to say, we won’t be going back there again.

Cheap tactics, disrespectful, rude, they don’t put proper/incorrect price tags on items. When you tell them during billing as you notice the price difference, they make it a scene or turn it in to an argument even though when you are casually bringing the difference in tag vs billing to their notice.

Almost everything an Indian eats is available here. The place is neat and clean and the employees are always polite and helpful.
