PetSmart
3739 William Penn Hwy, MonroevilleI could write paragraphs and paragraphs about the staff here. Incredible place and people.
We see Dawn in grooming and she knows exactly who our little Latte is and what we want. Generally she takes her back for doggy daycamp where all of the staff know our dog by name. The entire day camp team take the time to really know the dogs and they very obviously care.

Pittsburgh Pet Concierge Luxury Pet Boarding Resort
227 Loretta Dr, MonroevilleWe have 2 older Morkies named Bodhi & Jax. When they were younger, we had several awful boarding experiences. After those experiences, we stopped boarding them and took them with us everywhere. We needed a place for them to stay bc we were traveling long distance for my son’s college graduation in Alabama. After a lot of searching and calling I reached out to Pittsburgh Pet Concierge. I spoke with Josh and he reassured me that they would be very happy in the wonderful unique set up. They were kept together and had their own living room and bedroom. They had an attendant all day and one to sleep with them overnight. They followed our home feeding schedule and were given so much love and attention. Josh reached out with updates and photos regularly. He provided updates on their demeanor, socializing and even their intake and bowel movements. Every interaction was unbelievably kind, thoughtful and reassuring.
I also want to mention that there is an on site vet tech which was extremely reassuring.
When we picked them up they were so happy and healthy. Josh even had some tips for how to encourage our finicky one to eat his kibble and some options for dental care bc at their age anesthesia is risky. Pittsburgh Pet Concierge is over 30 minutes from our house. I would drive twice the distance for the unmatched care and service we received. Josh and the team at Pittsburgh Pet Concierge are AMAZING!!
Thank you Josh and team!! You really are a one of a kind boarding service. We are looking forward to planning more vacations now that we have the best care for our boys.

The Dog Stop
4375 Old William Penn Hwy, MonroevilleThis was my first time using The Dog Stop service. I must say from my initial call to picking up my pet I was impressed. I called the day before to ask for pricing and availability. The young man walked me through the online registration process. There I was able to create an account and make an appointment because the website was user friendly. The day of my appointment the staff was super nice and took the extra time to answer questions I had. I dropped my pet off and he was ready within a couple of hours. I was satisfied with his grooming and the service I received. Also, there prices can't be beat. I will be back for sure. Great Job Team Dog Stop!!!

Northern Pike Veterinary Hospital
4264 Northern Pike, MonroevilleIf I could give more stars to this wonderful group of people, I would. I have been with Dr. Martin since her practice opened as we had guinea pigs in the 90’s. Through the years, my family has grown to love and respect, not only her, but the entire staff here. I’ve seen all of the doctors, all of the techs and secretaries, and everyone is caring and will do as much as they can to help the families and their fur babies. Are they pricey? Yes. Do I get the best care here? Absolutely. If the doctors are stumped—they tell you that and work with you, and other vets, to find the most acceptable approach. Humble, fair, compassionate, and all around amazing people. I’ll NEVER go anywhere else!

Banfield Pet Hospital
3820 William Penn Hwy, MonroevilleWe are very pleased with Banfield Pet Hospital. We had a medical emergency with my mother's dog a week ago and took it initially to a different vet in Monroeville for some issues and they did some emergency treatment on a Sunday and test and wantex to keep her for a few days for observation prior to deciding whether or not to do some surgery. We had another family member use Banfield and they contacted them on Monday and their surgeon took the dog and did the minor surgery on Monday morning and was home that afternoon. And the cost was about a third of what the initial vet was going to charge, prior to the three day stay at their pet hotel...smh...We are really pleased with Banfield.

Coast and Main Seafood and Chophouse
705 Mall Cir Dr, MonroevilleWe visited last night for our anniversary. We’ve been here multiple times and have never been disappointed. We had an excellent waiter who was attentive but also let us enjoy our meal. We had nothing but seafood and it was all delicious. The crab cake, especially, is as good as you’ll find this far inland.

Napoli Pizza
4230 William Penn Hwy A, MonroevilleThis is one of those local hole in the wall places, they have about 12 to 14 tables in their small dining room. The food was made at order, came out fairly quickly, and tasted great. I would highly recommend this place to anyone that is looking for something more than the regular chain style fast food but not the full restaurant dinning experience.

Monroeville Dog Park
Red Gate Dr, MonroevilleThe large dog area is pretty large. Seems well kept, lawn is mowed, the only debris is newly fallen leaves and some community toys.
There are a couple of benches and a picnic table.
The dog water is functional on our visit in mid October.
