  One suggestion I would give is to reconfigure the area where the vaccinations are occurring. I felt as though I was in the way of those who were shopping for pet supplies and food, and it was a tad nerve wrecking. The vets were great as well as the two ladies checking us in. I’m not sure how far this review will go, but I wanted to give the suggestion anyway.

  Overall good experience receiving shots for my cat…but misleading. I received coupons for a free first exam, and then was told they did not do that there. As well as I asked numerous times for them to scan the microchip so I could get the number to change the address, and they failed to do so. There was pee all over the floor, where they had customers waiting in line.

  Not only is this place filthy and the animals appear to be uncared for, but also, they rarely come through when we really need them. I'm not sure how this place hasn't been shut down. Their prices are vastly different from their online prices. Luckily, they price match, but you shouldn't have to do a bunch of research to not get ripped off. We go there because sometimes we have to, but I am officially done.Today's anecdote:I went in for a cone for my cat who is destroying his poor eye. I have someone sitting with him at home so I can get this cone and get back to work. After searching the store I find one section with a terribly limited selection. Awful hard things for an average of $40. I check online and of course, they are $14.99 there. What?The only one that they have in his size is scuffed up on the clear plastic part, and looks like it has been used, but here I am, having an emergency, or I need some thing fast. I wait in line and when I get to the counter, the girl kindly tells me they can only take cash right now. Please, tell me, you're joking, I think.Who is running this place? This is something I should've known upon entering the store. A sign on the door? At this point, I am beyond frustrated and almost in tears, when the cashier points outside and says "I think there's an atm over there somewhere?"This is unacceptable on so many levels. I was already settling for a lackluster product at inflated in-store prices... and you can't even take my credit card. It's 2023. Shame on you, Petco. I do hope someone looks into your practices and cleans things up there.

  Finally the Petco in Monroeville has a Groomer, And she is wonderful her name is Charlie she was great with my long haired Chihuahua groomed perfect!!!! We will be back :) 12-2-2022 Took us on time and was done earlier than promised I'm so happy :) I believe the grooming dept was closed for around 6 months I have been to two other groomers in the area nothing like Petco !! Thank you for finding a good person for the job.

  Last Monday I took my Sammie in for a scheduled grooming. The groomer didn’t give me good vibes. The first thing she asked me was if I had proof of vaccines, which I said yes and proceeded to show that they were updated via my Banfield Hospital app. She saw that the app said the vaccines were up to date and then asks the guy who was standing at the computer if he knew Banfields number. The young gentlemen responded “no, but you can Google it” Now I have never heard of Petco c

  Alex was absolutely wonderful! So helpful—replaced our fish that died and gave excellent advice (and words of encouragement) to a new aquarium owner. Even though this store is a chain, they treat you like it’s a Mom and Pop pet store—you’ll always have my business! Thanks again!

  I asked my mom to go get two feeder mice for my snake ( i only asked her because im stuck at home with the baby) so because she had so much going on with my grandmothers treatment this morning she calls the store number asking in advance if they have the mice so she didnt waste a trip. She then gets there and they didnt have any, and apparently didnt for a while, so they had no idea why the associate who answered would say it. But they need to get on the same page. My mom just wasted a trip with my grandmother in the car .
