).Very unprofessional staff working here. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE AVOID THE PROBLEMS They are biased against people who receive certain medications from medical professionals. I am hiring an attorney. Rite Aide is known for this all through the early 2000s around the Pittsburgh area, and it's came back to this one on Broadway Blvd in Monroeville, between Trafford and Pitcairn. It reared its ugly head again. I am sick of prejudice and biased people in the medical field. I am in contact with an attorney to see what can be done about this.
What happened was I was prescribed the same medication and having this Rite Aid fill it since 2018. Every month since 2018, I had this same medication prescribed by my doctor and went in personally to pick it up. Then, one day on February 19th, 2024, 6 years, I have been getting these same medications filled here. They told me I wasn't allowed my medications because my i.D. was expired! I had to have another customer waiting behind me to present his i.D. so I could have my medications!
BEWARE OF THIS PHARMACY AND THEY ARE UNETHICAL AND GASLIGHTTED ME AFTER I CO.PLAINED OF UNFAIR PRACTICES AND VIOLATIONS OF MY HIPPA RIGHTS ! THEY ARE CHILDISH PEOPLE HERE! BEWARE!
It was they young blond grlirl named Morgan that started all the problems for me here! Upon reading other reviews and seeing people complain about the same girl. She is very unprofessional and should not be working in the medical INDUSTRY'S..... !
If anyone is having issues with this place treating you unfair or being biased see Section 504 of the Civil Rights Grivance procedure of the 1557 discrimination act and you can file a private Email to get the ball rolling in weeding out these troubled employees.

Finally free of this garbage fest pharmacy. The younger blonde pharmacist is extremely rude, charged me against my insurance, then refused to refund it after openly admitting to us she was wrong. Do not go here. Go to CVS, go to Giant Eagle, heck you would probably get better service from a five year old running a walk up clinic. No apology from the manager when this was brought to his attention (older bald guy). Now that I don't have to risk them holding my prescriptions hostage, I'll be running up the ladder to corporate

Awful Pharmacy experience again here today. Waited a couple minutes while 3 people at the counter ignored me, to then tell me appointment only for immunizations. Went to the car to schedule an appointment only to see that they were wide open all day. Scheduled for the next available half hour. 12:30. Came back in to report for appointment 5 min early. They asked all the questions I just answered online again and now it's 12:45, still no jab. (This after an attempt yesterday where they were randomly closed in the afternoon). This location is close proximity, next time I'll know better and drive elsewhere....

Other Rite Aids that I have been to will have easy ways to refill scripts. Like they will refill via text and make all your scripts ready on the same day so you don't have to come in 3 times a month. Not the case here. Also if you call to check if it's filled, they give incorrect info. Sometimes a refills won't be done for days unless you come in. There's always a long line and the staff aren't helpful.

It would be great if they could either pick up the phone or be open during their business hours.

Hours change daily. Never consistent. One day the hours are 3-8, the next only until 5 or 7. The hours state on the pharmacy 9-8 but that hasn’t been true for years. You could wait in line for awhile before they notice you and when they finally do they look at you for being an inconvenience then turn their heads. Go to another pharmacy.

This is their idea of “customer service”. I stood in line for about 2 minutes and there was no cashier. I got closer to the register and decided to press to squeak and still no one came over. 5 min later a cashier finally comes over to ring me up. Very unprofessional and lazy of them. Every cashier job I’ve ever had, my managers required me and my coworkers to be at the register. And even when we were doing other things, we were instructed to stop what we were doing to help the customers. In the future I’ll go to CVS or Walgreens.

This place is a joke. It's never a smooth pharmacy transaction. They say half hour and you come back 2.5 hours later and they say its still going to be hours. This is common, not just a one time thing. Avoid here.

Staff is friendly but wait time for scripts is ridiculous. I try calling ahead to see if scripts are ready and nobody in the pharmacy has picked up. I go to the store and wait in the line for 20 minutes only to be told the script is not ready or they are waiting for authorization. Why do you need authorization to fill a script that has multiple refills left on it? I felt lied to. I've been waiting for over a week to get a script filled. I am losing faith in this pharmacy. I never had a problem when Becky worked there. Now the service is terrible.

I was on hold for a long time but Fiona answered and went above and beyond for me I had no idea where my prescription ended up and she ended up googling the Rite Aid and providing me with their phone number and their address. Excellent customer servicethank you Fiona!
