Dealers in the parking lot.
The facility reeked of weed.
The rooms were poorly maintained, poorly organized, and small. Tiny TVs.
The area is questionable; don't leave valuables in your car.

The bathroom was small the shower head fell off in my shower the comp body soap was empty tile on the floor cracked and broken my view all night was the toll both for the toll road the noise woke me up Thur the night and the flood lights from the toll both shine at the hotel Thur the curtains was a real pain the lay out of the room was poor a giant space in corner with nothing in it TV and TV stand facing away from the bedroom not to Marriott standard and not to mine the free breakfast at 0700 in the morning but not a place to sit to eat and enjoy last but the first thing is walk in the main entrance for that matter anywhere on the main floor and your eyes burn with the chlorine burn off smell from the indoor pool watered my eyes when i walked in the main entrance

We recently stayed here at Springhill Suites, Monroeville because of my daughter’s wrestling tournament. The hotel was great! The rooms were very clean, spacious, the bathroom was a very decent size. The beds were clean, and comfortable! Our room was bigger than I was expecting! We had a living room area & then an area where our beds were! We had a little mini kitchen ( a kitchen sink, coffee pot, microwave & refrigerator) We weren’t the only wrestling families staying that night & the front desk allowed all the kids to hangout downstairs in the lobby together. Which I thought was very kind, because kids aren’t the quietest lol. There was also breakfast in the morning & the food selection was pretty good too! Overall, if we’re ever back in Monroeville, we will definitely stay here again!

I had to get a room due to family being in the hospital. Staff was absolutely amazing. extremely clean. Ray at the front desk suggested great place to eat. Morning staff was phenomenal with coordinating with me. Breakfast was awesome. Coffee was great.
Rooms: Super clean. AC worked great.
Food and drinks: Dad's Pub and Grub amazing
breakfast was absolutely delightful! Amazing job.

Stayed here for the Steel City ComicCon two miles away. Clean room, and the shower had the best combo of water pressure, volume and temp.

My family stayed at the hotel on June 22 due to a travel baseball tournament. The location was perfect!
We woke to a blaring fire alarm around 10:45pm that night, it proceeded to ring for 2+ hours. The fire department said there was a water issue that they couldn't find, and then after they did, the alarm continued to go off. Staff was unable to shut it off. They were finally able to get the room alarms to go off around 12:30/1am.
The next morning front desk staff told myself/multiple others we would NOT be charged for the night. Fast forward a few weeks, the credit has not shown up on our statement. I called the hotel, the lady I spoke with was very short with me & basically said I was wrong and they did not say they were doing that. However, if anyone called they would take $50 off the bill. I'm not sure where the issue lies, but we will not be staying at this brand of hotel in the future if they cannot be forthcoming of what will actually happen.

Nice, spacious rooms, good breakfast (though I wish it went later than 9:30), and a decent pool & fitness center. Got a great rate with AAA membership.
Rooms: Microwave, refrigerator (no freezer) coffee maker, sink, desk, couch, ironing board, iron, hair dryer, ceiling fan, A/C, TV.

Front desk staff Ray and Jesse were very helpful with advice on the area!
Rarely encounter such engagement in other Marriott's. They should be the trainers for low rated properties!

The staff were all friendly and kind. The AM breakfast staff was absolutely amazing.
The hallways smelled like a gym locker and my room left a lot to be desired. I asked about switching rooms and they were booked, which was evident by the parking lot as well.
I was able to sleep, eat and get to work while I was there so this place covers that need. I do wish they did some room refreshes to cover down on the annoying aspects like peeling tubs, stained floors and the general smell of the place.
I would have rated lower if it wasn't for the staff. They were great.

A very convenient and welcoming hotel right off the turnpike. The staff was super accommodating and even helped me get my tire all patched up nearby.

As a front desk agent myself, I’m embarrassed to admit I showed up for check in unprepared. lol However, Lisa, who I believe is a FR Supervisor, was very gracious and patient with me. I appreciated that tremendously! Every FD employee I encountered was very nice and helpful! Me and my 3 kids enjoyed our stay very much, and will be back again!

Check in was easy, but a surprised that the fridge in the room had a milk bottle left by the previous occupants.
