Rewriting my review posted yesterday. We were contacted by the manager this morning and reimbursed for the fees that they acknowledged they did not tell us about. Really appreciate her taking ownership of their lack of communication and her professionalism. 3 stars to her and her team, because though the issue was resolved it was completely avoidable and still does not match what is advertised. Any reasonable person can see that.However, the owner already made it clear that he does not value our business after years of loyalty so he gets zero stars. We have canceled our future appointments due to his lack of ownership of his business' practices and frankly his inability to act like a professional. Anytime someone writes a negative review it is clear that there is no way he could have possibly done anything wrong or different evident by how he responds time and time again to any less than stellar review of his business. Regardless of how much you take care of people in the past, it doesn't give you a free pass to take them for granted and address them however you see fit. At the end of the day we are still the customer. Correction - were.Just a final thought, maybe if you didn't respond the way you do then you would be able to maintain customers and frankly staff. Maybe then you wouldn't have to charge fees that aren't advertised which the dog stop website says are included. As you said in your response to my previous review, completely out of your control though and there's nothing you could possibly do better. You are awesome.

Just returned from vacation to be charged a bunch of hidden fees that have never been a part of boarding in the past. Have been using the Dog Stop Monroeville for about 8 years for boarding as well as retail purchases of dog food and other items. Have remained customers even after moving further away from the location because of the service that used to exist. Used to go here and know everyone by name and they all knew our dogs. Not the case anymore. If you're going to start charging for things on top of your ever increasing prices it is absolutely your prerogative. However, you would think you would tell people who have been loyal customers for years when policy changes happen. Especially when the dog stop website specifically still says things like medication and food are included. I guess it's time to evaluate other options as the service that once set JC and his team apart apparently no longer exists.

This was my first time using The Dog Stop service. I must say from my initial call to picking up my pet I was impressed. I called the day before to ask for pricing and availability. The young man walked me through the online registration process. There I was able to create an account and make an appointment because the website was user friendly. The day of my appointment the staff was super nice and took the extra time to answer questions I had. I dropped my pet off and he was ready within a couple of hours. I was satisfied with his grooming and the service I received. Also, there prices can't be beat. I will be back for sure. Great Job Team Dog Stop!!!

This place is wonderful. I boarded my 3 dogs for a week while on vacation. The staff is friendly and professional. The faculty is very clean. When I called to check on one of the dogs, they were able to provide specific details on how he was doing without delay. The communication was terrific. I also like that a free grooming was included with their stay of 7 days. When I picked the dogs up, they were able to tell me how each dog did down to how many meals each one didn't eat. (The only thing that would add to the experience is to be able to view them in their individual kennel via camera.) This will be my new "go-to" when needing to board my dogs.

The most comfortable I have ever felt boarding my dog(s) and this was our first time using The Dog Stop. The staff is professional, friendly and actually wanted to to meet our fur-family and were great with them. The staff took care of all three individually as they all needed some type of attention (medication/food needs). They even managed to get our Pitty out in the play group with other dogs for the first time in her 9 years!! Other places said she didn’t have the temperament for it and one day we looked at the cameras and were completely amazed and filled with emotion. I highly recommend The Dog Stop, our new go to for all future boarding needs ❤️

Very nice, clean facility. The staff is friendly and watchful. The owner checked in with us the first night to let us know how our dogs were doing. They have cameras in the play areas so you can see your dog.

Prices too high, it smelled inside building. Have been in our dog stops they never smelled bad. I had to wait forever while they checked a dog in for vacation and all the crsp this dog had to have at certain times. Like doggie ice cream before bed, bone at 11am. They could have brought someone our to do that or ring me out. Waited 20 mins to buy expensive treats.

If I could give zero stars I would. I left my dog at the dog stop in Monroeville for a week while on vacation. When I picked him up, he was fearful and timid. A day later I noticed he had worms in his stool. Of course the staff denied having any issues with him or any other dogs. He will not be returning.

Our dog had his very first extended stay at the dog spot. We were very nervous because he had never been separated from us. He warmed up quickly and they were so great with him. I called to check on him every day and the staff were so kind. We will absolutely us them for our next trip!

We boarded our Blue Heeler here and they did fabulous with him! He loved all the ladies and the other dogs. It was his first time ever and mine and they staff made it so easy! They didn’t make me feel rushed when I called to check in on him. Great first experience for us all!

Take my dog here to get groomed all the time. Megan the groomer is awesome with our dog Hercules. He loves her and is honestly the only person he'll let trim his nails lol.... and my parents also take there newfoundland there to, to be groomed and they do an awesome job with him to being he's so big. And the staff and the owner there are amazing ppl to deal with. Never had any problems there. Highly recommend

UBER friendly and helpful staff that understand my concerns about my dog's slight disability and their care of him when he's there on being honest about what days I shouldn't bring him. Owner is FULL hands on and interacts when needed to tweak things for my dog, like the true amount of time my dog can handle on a daily basis because of his condition. JC, Sarah, Sierra and staff.. U RAWK!
