I normally rent with enterprise. This was my first experience renting with Hertz in 10 years. Communication was horrible, hidden fees amounted to $500+, the process to extend my rental was confusing and strenuous after a total loss insurance claim. I’ll never rent with hertz again. Way too stressful.

The good. Jimmy is the best sales person ever.
The bad. Very little, if anything. a few bumps figuring out how to process EV credit, but from what I read it is a bit of a jungle per se. They worked on it and all went well

They let me leave with a car I signed all the paperwork and put $500 down then a week later they made me return the vehicle saying my financing fell through They should have made sure financing was in order before we did the deal. It’s been over 1 week and I’m still waiting on my $500 down payment to be refunded. Salesman was great and helpful it was the finance department that dropped the ball

If I could give zero stars, I would. I’ve never experienced such terrible customer service anywhere in my life. The man at the desk was rolling his eyes at my mother and I when simply trying to understand the credit card policy. Absolutely ridiculous. We went at 9:10 am on 2/28/25

Just wanted to extend my appreciation to Jimmy at Hertz in coraopolis for going above and beyond to assist me while searching for a safe and reliable vehicle for my son. He allowed me to test drive multiple cars and take my time. I also would like to extend my gratitude to the general manager Tyler who came in on his day off to complete the sale for Jimmy and I. He accommodated my sister in law and I so we could finalize the purchase of my sons new car.

I will never rent from Hertz again. Still bitter over the $200 in hidden fees sent to me after returning the car. A convenience fee for using a transponder? Setting it up so a $1.40 toll ends up costing over 8 times that amount. Shame on you Hertz. I’ve called and was given the run around. Never again Hertz.

I have nothing but good things to say about Don Nardick. Attentive, explained the process well for a first time car owner, and is readily available for questions. There’s a reason why my family/parents have purchased 9 cars from this employee. I will absolutely come to back to Don for any car purchasing/owning needs.
