All my experiences at this store have been bad. I don't blame the staff, I blame CVS. This store is clearly understaffed. The lines are always long, and the staff always seem stressed out. I hope CVS sees these reviews and increases staffing, but I doubt it. I've started using Sloan's pharmacy just down the street. I don't care if I have to pay more for my medication on occasion. Sloan's is just better in every way.

Terrible customer service, rude and not helpful at all. Went for Covid shot and they refused the service . It says is free , but the pharmacist or tech is telling me I need insurance. So why it states free on the sign outside and inside. Just bad attitude all together.

This store has poor customer service. Good luck getting through to the pharmacy. After waiting 38 min. I hung the phone up.

If I could give this CVS pharmacy 0 stars I would..... beyond awful. I've called several times only to be on hold for 20+ minutes then hung up on when someone did answer. I did use Sam's club pharmacy but moved away from the sams club and this pharmacy is right down the road from me. I'm highly thinking of changing due to the rude staff in the pharmacy, the awful looks & rude snarky comments when I go in to pick up my grandparents & my child's prescriptions. When I call in, I always get "we don't have the time to look up the account", " we've been busy", "can you call back later "? . I have worked at a cvs & the management isn't great in the pharmacy so I'm not sure if that is the case at this one but what I do know is that they will continue to lose customers if they don't get their situation figured out.

The people that work in the pharmacy are absolutely horrible. They’re EXTREMELY rude and unprofessional.

This store is a complete disaster. There is no cashier and the self checkout is not working. Forget scheduling a vaccine unless you have time to burn because your appointment means nothing. Also when you are waiting many sick people will be standing in line coughing on you. Also people who came in after you will be helped first. Come at your own risk.

I have sat on hold a handful of times now. Each time ranging from 40 minutes to an hour and a half. With NO ANSWER or PICK UP. I was supposed to get a call back if something was a miss with one of my important prescribed medications. And they never called. So they day I went in for them. They weren't there for me. Nore even a script filled out. This CVS is understaffed and it's Sad. I know they are working hard. But come on. You can't let the phone ring that long all day. I guarantee they have the phone put on silent. ?

DO NOT GO HERE! First of all, good luck if your trying to call. After you get though the 20 questions and forever long automated service, enjoy a 30-45min wait to be connected. That's if they ever pick up at all. Second, they run out of meds often. So that's fun. Trying to transfer your prescription to another pharmacy just to get your meds is a day long adventure! No thanks.

This CVS has by far the most incompetent employees working for the pharmacy that I have ever seen in my life. I've had miscounted pills, I've had prescriptions not transferred correctly, I have had them deny refills that they had no authority to deny, my doctor has to continuously call to tell them how to do their jobs, it is like have a staff of Joe Bidens behind the counter. AVOID if you can.

BEWARE. Absolutey awful pharmacy. At least half of the staff is extremely rude especially Wayne and Charlene. Multiple instances of saying I recieved medicine when I had not. Someone has sticky fingers. We have escalated our situation in reporting it to the higher ups and there will hopefully be an internal investigation. Never go here if you don't want to be accused and berated and left without life sustaining medication.

Avoid this place at all costs - the pharmacy has absolutely no clue what they are doing and can't even enter in simple insurance info. You're better off going to other pharmacies in the area

What has happened to customer service. The powers that be see fit to understaff their business and close the pharmacy for lunch break. I know your employees deserve lunch breaks but your customers deserve prompt service. Hire enough employees!!!! What a downhill ride your company has been on since 2019!! I’d rather spend time at PennDot than deal with the flippant attitude of your overworked, undervalued staff! You need to do better!

I had an awesome experience at the Mount Joy CVS. Tony was just great. My photo printed wrong and I wasn’t sure if it was my fault or the store’s. It didn’t matter! I called and spoke with Tony she said to come back in and we will reprint them free of charge. She was so nice and caring and I appreciated the time she took to help me. Thank you, Tony!

Pharmacy was closed at 130 when I went to pick up my prescription, which is obviously not listed online. Made the drive over for nothing. If my insurance didn’t force me to use cvs for prescriptions, I would NEVER come here. Insurances should not be able to dictate where you get your meds because this is what you end up with, places with garbage service still getting business.
