Mount Union Ace Hardware is a locally owned and helpful hardware store. It is known as a friendly, small mom-and-pop place with very nice and pleasant people. The staff is consistently described as very helpful, always willing to help at every turn. Customers find the employees great and considerate, often taking time to walk them to an item or look it up for ordering if not in stock. The store reliably has what is needed, including seasonal items like ice melter when other places are sold out, and prices are fair. It truly lives up to being "the helpful hardware folk." However, the Stihl shop operates separately, and the Ace staff cannot assist with Stihl parts or accessories if the mechanic is absent.

The store is small, they had what I needed. They had two teenagers working, and they couldn't answer my question. Also I wasn't greeted, and I wasn't asked if I needed help. I was the only customer in the store at that time.
