Sad to see it end like this. The previous owner let me explore the property twice and it was super cool. He clearly loved these cars. New owner held an open house and his pricing was well above what anyone would pay for these cars. Every car in this lot with the exception of maybe two Vanagons are total rebuilds. I don’t know about you but i don’t think a 85 rabbit with 150k in need of a total rebuild is worth 1200$. Would have been cool if the new owner wanted to get these cars in the hands of people looking to restore them by selling for reasonable prices. People running open house were nice but definitely not asking reasonable prices. For those curious cars started at 800 and vans started at 1000 and prices go up from there. Some of the vans in the yard could be worth it for a rebuild, but the cars are basically total losses. Most likely the vans higher ride height gave them an advantage when sitting in the damp woods for a decade or two.

I'm honestly fed up. Originally you guys said to make appointments so I did you let me in the yard for roughly an hour and a half then turned around and chased me out saying another person is coming (even though we were being respectful to your yard) and proceeded to tell us you dont want multiple people walking around the yard..but we weren't being supervised...so what would the big deal be...then fast forward to about a week ago I spoke to this guy named Ray on Facebook making this post selling vehicles he said the same story they are removing trees (cleaning up) BUT give them 2 weeks (mind you this was about a week ago) now out of curiosity I called today and a lady tells me they aren't taking appointments for parting out only for whole cars and it would be at least a month until I can come strip parts even though I was already there stripping parts ...like guys get your act together aleady...make your post more honest dont post saying come up and look around when reality your picking and choosing at random who you let break the rules and come walk around during your clean up. Personally I would have been a customer who kept coming back and spending but to be honest I feel pretty angry. The only upside is your pricing is fair...not great but it is fair. Since I don't plan to ever return (which I'm sure those ignorant guys don't care either) I might as well tell you there's some really ignorant people at that yard one being the dbag changing the light fixtures on the scaffolding and this other fat dude. Very rude they both need lessons from the Mexican guy that greets all the random guests that you guys randomly let in i will be sure to copy and paste this to your reviews as well I hope all the randomness was worth it. Because again you lost someone who would have kept coming back. I noticed a pattern anyone with volkswagon beetles are either very wired or very uptight...oh and for the record we weren't given a time limit when showing up to the yard

It would have been nice for a heads up of the original owners demise. All due respect to him and his next of kin. I could understand if the location holds significant sentimental value , however at the very least; keep everyone in the loop. Some communication would be great. Toodles

The owner recently passed away. No visiting is allowed. Don't come here from half of the globe away. Not worth the time or your plane ticket.

I was told to pass this on, the owner is okay with people checking it out on Sundays, but any other day you must request permission.Very fascinating place to see, shame all of these cars didn’t get to live on, they’re probably too rusty to save at this point. But worth checking out.
