I have never had a bad experience at Ben Franklin. There have been times I needed to drive half an hour and visit the fabric section just to improve a bad day. I miss the table of odds and ends. Like everywhere else, some of the prices are a bit higher but that just makes me cut more carefully.I bought my first fabric in 1965 for 50 cents. Made my wedding gown in 1975 for $25 because I also made a floor length veil. If I have a complaint about prices, it’s because you won’t let me buy 10 yards for $5 . . . like the good old days.I enjoy the friendliness of the staff and was amazed, recently, when I brought a little piece of fabric, hoping to get more. I was immediately taken to the right spot. I also enjoy seeing the hanging display of items sewn by one of the girls. It inspires me.

Changed the fabric dept too much. In fact most of the craft sections were done away with. It's almost all yarn and fabric with no fun stuff. Plus now they're way over priced. I walked out when I saw every bolt of fabric was 12.99 a yard. The fun table with the folded fabric is gone, now it's just 5-6 styles in the back. I feel like they had way more fabric last time I went. There was 1 white fur bolt, I expected several colors. Maybe they're catering more to amish or quilt makers, but I won't be going back.

What a great selection of fabric and yarn and other craft items! They also have a nice selection of home decorating items including seasonal things. Lots of Yankee Candles, too.

The other day was the first time I have ever been in a Ben Franklin. I really enjoyed the variety of items in the store, but wished I lived closer to this location because I would stop here more often. It’s nice to see stores like this still in existence because it gives you an appreciation for small businesses and local pharmacies.

Called to see if they had a certain product and the pharmacy answered the call first, didn't even say hold on just put me on hold, then another lady answered the phone and told me no they didn't carry what I was looking for and then just hung up. Didn't even give me a chance to that her for looking or anything I know it's close to Christmas but the attitude was uncalled for, sorry it was an inconvenience for me to call.

Overpriced, there was a bad smell in the store, and severalfood items had past ecperation dates. The staff spent most of the time gossiping about other people and spoke negatively about customers after they left the store out of eat shot. Small town inbred mentality.

I’ve been coming here since back when they still rented VHS tapes back by the pharmacy. While the layout and faces may have changed over the years the friendly service certainly hasn’t. If you are looking for anything craft related or need a prescription filled it is worth the drive as you will get far more knowledgable help here than at any chain store. It’s also nice knowing your money is going to a small business that has been serving the community for decades.

It's a gem to have such a high quality store and pharmacy in a very rural area. Gary Peck is very knowledgeable, friendly, and considerate when he answers questions in the pharmacy. It is very easy to use the automated phone system to order refills of prescriptions when the store is closed. I enjoy shopping there and supporting a small business rather than a big box store. The staff is very friendly and helpful. They have pottery, greeting cards, seasonal items, fabrics, and more.
