“I had the honor of visiting Game Masters as part of a birthday celebration with other gamers. The space is amazing, so many tables! The owner was delightful and showed us around the new space. He has a sensory room for when it gets too overwhelming (it can get pretty busy and noisy on Magic nights), semi-private areas, a ramp and stairs for accessibility and a HUGE game library to try out new games. He charges $5 per person to come in and use a table (totally worth it!) and has snacks and drinks to purchase, just pay at the end of your visit. If you are in the area and looking to play or just find new games to purchase, this is a wonderful spot to do so. We found MLEM and Apiary to take home, excited to try them out! Thanks for a fantastic, relaxed time!”
“I come to this store religiously. They have such an amazing selection for any level of gamer. They stay up to date in the latest releases while also working on highlighting smaller and local designers. They have a section on puzzles or rpg books for those not as into the games. You can even find a few gems in their previously owned games section. The staff is always so friendly and knowledgeable and happy to help. They’ve kicked off their demos as well and are teaching games to those who stop on. 10/10 would recommend.”
“Great shop for the basics (and then some) for a variety of art projects. Decent selection of low-tech / no-tech gifts and games, as well. Friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful staff.”
“Omg the friendliest people great customer service, the best n scale shop . The have stuff I can't get unless is ordered for month. Can't say enough. Also great restaurant across the street .”
“Brad is great to deal with, same with his brother blBlaine. They legitimately offer you a fair offer. I took a 1 cent there before without knowing much about it BUT i knew it had an error just didnt realize how big of an error it was- they could have gave me 50 bucks I would have been happy, they offered me way more and explained why that coin was special . I would trust them over a few other places.... By the way, it's always helpful to do your own research!”
“Mike is very knowledgeable, friendly, and honest. It was my 1st time purchasing from him and will definitely not be my last. Mike also took the time to look at some gold jewelry that I had although he was not interested in it but pointed my in the right direction to a vendor that he recommended aswell as gave me a damn close value that I should expect from the vendor. I highly recommend Market Harmony to anyone that is looking to invest in precious metals.”
“I really enjoyed visiting this store. They have a great selection of autographed memorabilia, comics, Funko Pops, and more. The 2 guys there were really friendly and knowledgable about memorabilia. I spent a lot of time browsing through the store and was never rushed. I ended up picking up a few autographed pieces and left very happy. I will definitely be coming back on a frequent basis to add more to my collection. Thank you!”
“What a fun little hole in the wall game shop. The owner was super nice and loads of fun to talk with. Will definitely stop in again next time I'm in Pittsburgh.”
“Harold could not be more responsive. He is friendly and easy to deal with. I enjoyed the time I spent with him and trust that he is an honest broker. I will be calling him again in the future.”
“Had an amazing experience. He was very honest and explained everything to me. Gave me top dollar for my coins. Would 10/10 recommend to any looking to sell their coins to someone honest.”
“Find your miniature and model paints here: Tamiya, Vallejo, Citadel + Warhammer, Army Painter, etc. Impressive inventory. Woodland Scenics stuff is great to see. Hope to see more model kits next time.”
“Michael and Stephen are the best! They recently moved to their new official spot for the shop and it's so beautiful, the marble entry way up the well kept cherry steps feels so magical. They are the top of the best here, their manorisim and sincere professional approach is welcoming with a touch of "let's learn something cool today". If you're selling your coins or even some jewelry (coins are their super power) then you need to come check the new spot out and have a chat with this numastic duo of all things precious metal! Get down to ellsworth and find out something new about the collection youre holding on to!”
“I ordered a box of SPA from them and it arrived two days early. A lot of the cards were poor quality but that’s by no means Steel City’s fault that’s is completely on Upper Decks quality control 10/10 Steel City will be one of my go to’s for hockey cards”
“Pretty huge store, lots of room to play, and I bet it gets busy during the evening. I went during the day, a little after lunch time and it was pretty much deserted except for a few guys at a table chatting and eating lunch. I was looking for some singles, and they had a nice system to look up inventory and place an "in store" order for cards. They didn't have a good chunk of what I wanted, but I was able to find a few items to purchase.”
“Absolutely an amazing experience will definitely be back the people that work there and the owner go above and beyond and are extremely knowledgeable and ready to help prices are reasonable the inventory is unbelievable”
“I have been coming to this place since I was a little kid to buy Pokemon cards, my father use to bring me here after work. The same guy John has been here forever very knowledgeable on anything card related. Gives me that mom and pop store vibe witch is very nice in today's society. After all these years I came back to buy more Pokemon and not only did he have what I was looking for but his selection is amazing, and very reasonable. As I was buying my cards I was very surprised he remembered my dad I didn't think he would remember me let alone my dad who passed 3yrs ago. Everytime I come in here I feel at home I never feel ripped off and I always find a great conversation. I highly recommend this place for any serious collector. Good things don't come easy he's only there Saturday and Monday but it's proof that rare things are always a great find. I hope u all have a great experience here like I do and I wouldn't be surprised when you do. Thanks for listeningYour local scrap man.”
“I love this place, definitely a lot of cool stuff and different booths to scour through. I love looking at the old jewelry and the 2000s toys. Most booths are pretty organized. I did end up with a few pairs of earrings and a S&P set. I'll definitely be back before Christmas to hunt for my famous pink bulbs.”
“I arrived at 9:00a sharp when they opened to have a historical item framed. Special framing was required. I pressed the buzzer thing at that department 3-4 times, but no one came to assist me. The framing person finally arrived at 9:15.All was forgiven because he was extremely professional, knowledgeable and helpful with optional ideas. Bottom line, 15 minutes wasn't the end of the world for me and was well worth the wait.”
“Items listed in-stock online aren't always accurate, only certain staff truly care to assist a customer find something, prices are high/competitive, but their wide selection (and certain staff who truly care to help your project) are the reason I continue to return to this store.”
“This one at the waterfront seems to have a good selection of yarns, paints, frames and canvas. The clearance isle is always overflowing. People in Pittsburgh aren't crafty. We just pretend and forget. So there is always a huge selection of things down there.”
