“Great place for driveshaft work. Came in with drive shaft from my 1965 ford galaxie 500. It was completely the wrong shaft in car when I bought it. Patterson made diagram and showed how to get measurements. They built me a brand new one with the right yolk and spline end. It was balanced perfectly and no vibration. I would recommend these guys all the time.”

We called probably 7 or 8 places but no one could do it the same day, then we called McDowell. On my way to the shop my vehicle died completely, and Drew himself came out and rescued me. The customer service was amazing, and my vehicle was back on the road within a few hours, at a very good price. We are so thankful to have found this place!”
“I had kars rebuild my transmission recently, they finished my vehicle when they said it would be done, very accommodating and friendly, I will always take my transmission repairs here no matter what vehicle I own, I had an issue that stemmed from a situation beyond my control and beyond there control, they made an immediate appointment and fixed an issue that was not their fault, I couldn't be more impressed with the response by keeping me in my vehicle while they still had their own responsibilities to other customers, they honor their warranty and made me feel like I did not impose in a very tight situation, thank you David,and Emily, she is the upfront backbone making sure appointments are met and that is critical to customers like me, 5 stars.”

“Nick Murarik also has a computer shop operated out of there, where he will fix your computer for you. Technical issues? Viruses? He can fix it all. I had a major problem with my laptop, he squared my computer away QUICKLY, (within 3 business days). That's not a guarantee, but other people told me 6-8 weeks. Reasonable prices also!! DEFINITELY recommend.”
“I find Segers to be the best place for heavy duty radiator service. They have bailed us out more than once and were very responsive to our needs. I live 3 hours away and am glad to drive there for their service. They even worked on one of our radiators over a weekend when we were in a time crunch. When we took our tractor truck to them with radiator leak a few years ago and they made us aware of an upcoming problem in engine that was not even radiator related and then fixed that issue too. They are busy, busy and the good ones always are. Hats off to them!”

UMI worked through any issue that arose and even made custom parts to make my build work with a Strange 12 bolt rear end in my 3rd Gen. “Michael was recommended to us by our mechanic and he was fantastic. I called 10-12 larger body shops in and around the State College area and many were booked for several weeks, and in some cases, 3+ months but Michael was able to get us in immediately after a deer strike inflicted significant damage to the front end of our Subaru Outback. Michael did amazing work and got us in and out in only two weeks, long before other shops could even consider working on our vehicle.His work looks amazing and I definitely recommend him to others. “Great experience here! I have a Subaru which are notorious for heat shields rattling. I had several shops look at it without being able to fix it for various reasons. I took it here & he fixed it within about 5 minutes. He even squeezed me in early to help me not miss work & he was very polite and kind. HIGHLY recommend for any exhaust work!”

“Sorry it took me so long to review. I want to say thank you to the two young gentleman that was working on the night of January 7th. I had a bad scary fall. The closest place I could get help as I was in pain and bleeding and without shoes. I lost them in the fall. I walks in and immediately they were helpful. They were obviously confused. Who wouldn't be when a lady walked in like she just lost a fist fight lol. But after they realize I was hurt and asked for them to call me an ambulance. They jumped in to action and got me a chair to sit in and got me some paper towels for my bleeding head. They called me an ambulance and calmed Me down. They did the best they could. I would imagine they were confused and shocked. But they handled things appropriately. I ended up with a severely broken wrist that needed surgery and a broken nose. I was in the hospital for several days. I want to say thank you to these young men. I would like to meet them in person. But sadly I didn't get the names. They deserve some recognition. Only one tip is you need to have first aid training. Just so employees know what to do when a clumsy me walks in the store needing help. A+ for handling me and the customers appropriately that evening.”
