I live 1 minute from a vet but will drive 35 minutes to Dr Horst. I have always been treated well and he is awesome with my babies. Would highly recommend Dr Horst!

1 Krall Rd, MyerstownHands down the best vet in the area! I have trusted Dr. Horst and his team with all of my animals for the past 20 years! They are always compassionate, they listen, and are true animal lovers. I also really appreciate the honesty I receive from him and his team. Sometimes the news isn't what we want to hear, but they are always honest and kind about it. On holidays, they have a doctor on call and are very quick to return your call and give you directions on what to do. They really do go out of their way to make sure you and your animal is taken care of!

1369 Greble Rd, MyerstownIt has been 7 months since we took an 8 hour round trip drive to pick up our puppy, Dakota (Sundae). I wanted to give some time before I wrote a review. I’m not one to write reviews, but I absolutely have to in this case. Dakota (parents Lexi and Randall) is the love of our lives. She has a beautiful coat of hair. She has the sweetest puppy eyes. She is unbelievably healthy. But it’s her personality that will win you over. She has a lot of energy and yet will nap with you when rest is necessary. She loves everyone. Everyone. My daughter has a bunny, and she gives it kisses. She is just the sweetest, kindest dog I’ve ever had. I have brought her to at least 4 different places for bathing, grooming, and when she got spayed, and EVERY person that hands her back to me tells me she is one of the best. She does require a lot of attention. She loves being with people. She will bring all her toys to us to show them off. She will follow us around the house all day. She is “happy” all the time. She will only bark when needed. She is incredibly smart as well. She potty trained easily (we use a bell on the door she rings). She loves to run and play, and will entertain herself outside with her toys. When I went to pick her up, I wasn’t sure what to expect. As I arrived, I was greeted right away by Jared holding the puppy. I immediately felt comfortable and secure that this puppy was from a loving family. Jared’s adorable daughter's played with the puppy so sweetly while I got instructions. They gave blankets, a toy, and for purchase, a big bag of food to start us out. I am sincere and honest with my review of Country haven puppies. I am a pretty tough judge of character and they get a definite 10/10 rating from me!
