Bob is the real deal - thorough, honest, and reliable. I picked him out cold from the internet when I was broken down, based on his reviews. Best decision I ever made, and I'm pleased to add my review to the rest of them. He is a no nonsense, no fluff, getter-done kinda guy. He's also my new mechanic. You'll like him.

I was having a noise coming from the undercarriage of my 2015 Tahoe. I had it diagnosed and it was found to be a transmission issue. After two opinions, I reached out to Bob at A Wyoming Valley Transmission from a search and reading good reviews about him. He explained to me what could be the problem and agreed to look it over for me. After doing so, he informed me that I would need a new transmission. He provided me two options and explain why I should choose the one I did. He had it shipped in and received it in two weeks. I dropped it off on a Friday morning and by Monday night, he had it done for me. Excellent service, friendly and professional. When in need of future auto work, I’ll be taking our cars to him. What can’t I say about this shop. Bob and Fred were great to work with. We were shown all the replacement parts and Bob spent the time to explain the problems with our car in full detail. He will be our regular mechanic.

I am so grateful to Bobby rebuilding my Mother’s 89 Ford Aerostar! WVT / Bobby was the only place in the Valley who would take this project on! Bobby and Fred are great and they KNOW their stuff! Took my F-150 truck in for possible Transmission trouble after Bob diagnosed my trouble turned out it was my 4x4 vacuum hubs plus found some other issues that I thought was something I diagnosed properly but was a little more complicated so Bob offered to do repairs when I arrived to pick up my Truck Bob had all the old parts on his work bench for me to see to show me he just didn’t say something was wrong and charge me for not doing work I consider myself a somewhat of a mechanic and for Bob to show me my broken parts that shows me the integrity of this small town Business that you don’t find with these bigger franchises who try to nickel and dime you to death I have no problem recommending Wyoming Valley transmission to anyone because Bob is a fair and trustworthy mechanic and shop ownerServices: Auto engine diagnostic

Took my 2019 Dodge Grand Caravan here and let them know what was going on. Basically couple not get the van into drive. They let me know it might be covered by the dealer and to check that first so I wouldn’t spend money I didn’t need to, unfortunately it was not covered. So I went back and they informed me based on parts it could be awhile before they get it back to me. Long story short they had it back to me the same day I dropped it off!!! It was a simple fix and no part needed and they got me on the road quickly! Super nice guys there and I appreciate the honesty and advice! I will be returning for whatever I need on my vehicle! I got a clutch replacement for my truck. I LOVE IT!!! Bob is SO professional and such a wonderful warm person. He makes you feel like you've known him for a long time and he knows his stuff. What I love is that he walks through with you what's wrong with your vehicle and explains the mechanics of it and then what he did. He then takes the parts he removed and shows you what they looked like and what is supposed to look normal. For someone who is just learning about cars, this is EXTREMELY helpful but also makes him more trustworthy.He really took care of my pickup. His prices are also VERY fair and definitely so for the amazing job he does. He and his crew take pride in their work and that is VERY important to me.SO glad I went there.

I highly recommend this business! On a snowy Sunday afternoon I was driving on a dirt road near Nanticoke and slid into a dirt mound. Something was wrong with my truck’s steering or wheel but I was over an hour away from home and my trusted mechanic. Googled auto repair near me and Wyoming Valley Transmission popped up and rated at 5 stars! I drove over not expecting anyone to be at the shop on a Sunday afternoon but as I pulled in Bob greeted me. I let him know my problem and I left my truck there not expecting to hear anything for several days. Bob called me the next day. Said he would have the truck on the rack by Tuesday then that afternoon Bob called to let me know the truck was fixed!!! Told Bob I could pick up my truck Wednesday after work but would not be able to get there until almost 2 hours after he normally closed. Bob was very accommodating and said he would wait for me. I arrived well past closing time and Bob was there. He explained the repair to the steering/front end and the price was extremely reasonable!! This auto shop is a gem!!
