They got me right in no questions asked took wonderful care of my rabbit x-rays bandaged him and gave him a shot highly recommend this doctor and staff and his daughter was wonderful with communication via email going to use them for boarding in the future since they do board pets very reasonable prices thank you again. “We have been clients at Plains Animal Hospital over fifteen years. The entire staff of Doctors, nurses, technicians, front desk workers and housekeeping workers are dedicated to providing the best care and safety for every patient and their pet parents. The fur babies are treated like family. People often ask me why we take our babies to an animal hospital instead of going to a clinic or somewhere cheaper: my reply is our pets aren't just animals and we want them to have the best care, attention and dedication that they deserve. “I actually had a long term Vet before I came here, the woman answering phones at Kutish was rude and basically blew me and my cat Gypsy off, told me to go to the ER vet, then hung up on me! I found out from 10+ other people that they experienced the very same thing, as all animal lovers know that have had to go to an ER Vet; it's VERY expensive. I'm single with no help and I'm far from rich, if it came to that I would have but thankfully I called MT Top animal hospital and within the hour I had Gypsy looked at and he was fine a few days later after observation and a steroid shot. The lack of care for an innocent animal from the other vets office was sad, disturbing and disgusting. Thank you SO much Dr Werger, you will now be seeing my Gypsy and Vladimir for future visits. We are fuurrrever grateful. :)”

“Purchased a package deal. Was told after, that one vaccine needed a follow-up booster and would have to return in four weeks. That was not a problem. The problem was that I had to pay for follow-up vaccine at ala carte price. The follow-up should have been included with the original package since there was no prior notice of separate charge”

“My cat had a UTI, needed to be seen by a vet ASAP, and my regular clinic was not able to accommodate us. I called multiple clinics in the area, trying to avoid the cost of an emergency vet visit and travel, and Kingston Veterinary Clinic was the only place willing to squeeze us in (an hour before close too)! Upon arrival, they were extremely kind and worked quickly to get my cat the care she needed. The staff was so friendly and clear in their directions for her care, even in their directions for how to get to the clinic. I wish I wasn't moving away from the area, because I would love to continue her care here!”
“I was bringing my dog in because she had been ill, not interested in getting off the sofa to eat, drink, or for her much loved walks. She was a large breed and we were accommodated and treated with care and respect. Dr Hannah and 2 wonderful techs afforded us time to discuss this final process. I wasn't 100% sure I was making the right decision. Dr Hannah upon assessment noted my big girl had a fever and seeing how upset and indecisive I was suggested we test and treat for most basic and obvious infections, such as Lymes. We made a joint decision to give my weak girl some IV fluids, antibiotics, pain meds and an appetite enhancing med and continue this treatment for a few days. If there was no improve we would proceed with my initial plan. There was a slight improvement but only for one day. We gave her a fighting chance and removed the guilt I was feeling without at least trying something. I'm so grateful for the time, respect and compassion that was afforded both for me and my big big good girl. Letting her pass was much more peaceful for us both. Dr Hannah and her team provided us so much care and time and charged us such a reasonable fee for above and beyond time and care. As I know my girl is galloping across the rainbow bridge pain free. I am so thankful and grateful that I trusted Dr Hannah. I am at peace.”
“I always forget to leave a review, because you only go to animal hospitals for scary reasons and the thought leaves my mind.
I cannot recommend this facility and it's staff enough. Easily the best animal hospital within the NEPA region. I wish they could open a sister location with how much they support our community. Straightforward care, straightforward about costs and risks, and kind every time as long as you can be kind in return.”

“We arrived home late on a Saturday night to find that our German Shepherd ate about a pound and a half of grapes! I took him to Northeast Veterinary Referral Hospital and the staff was great, he loved everyone there. He was able to come home two days later but I think was disappointed that he couldn’t hang out with the staff any longer! I do wish that I did not have to call the ASPCA poison line 1st, they charged me $110 to tell me that, yes, a pound and a half of grapes was way too much for a German Shepherd to eat but, it was the process all of the hospitals I contacted required.”

“Lovely people, very professional, they took my cat in minutes when I got there. He is scared when goes but that’s because he’s not a fan of people but the vet makes him feel comfortable when I leave. Very sweet people. They Don’t over charge. Gives you explicit details and instructions on what’s going on with your pet, and gives options on what we can do like for example. My cat cannot take a pill for his life so they give me an option for the shot and do it there in front of me so he feels safe. I trust them with my baby’s life and they are just phenomenal in every way. Thank you very much!”
