I have been a patient at this office for three years, along with my family of three. Unfortunately, after today’s experience, this marks our last visit. I arrived promptly for my 2:00 PM appointment, checked in, and attempted to ask some straightforward questions at the front desk.
First, I inquired whether the office still accepts my insurance, as the person who scheduled my appointment over the phone mentioned it might no longer be accepted. The front desk employee, Jolie, was unable to provide a clear answer. I then asked for an estimate of what the visit might cost out of pocket in case my insurance wasn’t accepted. Again, Jolie couldn’t provide any information.
After checking in, I waited in the lobby for 40 minutes without being called or receiving any updates. There was no acknowledgment of the delay or even a courtesy notification that they were running behind. When I asked Jolie how much longer the wait might be, she couldn’t give me any estimate at all.
At that point, I decided not to wait indefinitely just to potentially be billed an unknown amount. I canceled my visit and left.
Over the years, none of us in my family has ever actually seen Dr. Lipton himself, and today’s experience was the final straw. Adding to this frustration, I’ve even been emailed other patients’ medical records in the past, which raises serious concerns about this office’s professionalism and confidentiality.
While I cannot speak of Dr. Lipton personally, since we’ve never met him, I can confidently say that this office is severely lacking in basic customer service and operational competence. We will not be returning.

This practice has been a life saver for me. I’m beyond grateful for Dr Lipton’s level of care. He is a great listener, and great teacher with his rotating clinical students. If you’re looking for a practice that is more holistically focused and not driven by big pharma, this is the one.Thanks doc!!!

I got Dr.Lipton's name from my insurance website, called the office.They didn't really ask any clarifying questions, just got my email and sent me bunch of forms to fill out. I did and sent them back just to receive an e-mail stating they don't accept my insurance. May be the doctor is good, but his office staff is in a hurry (understaffed? underpaid?) and don't even bother talking to you to make sure you even need to waste your time on them.Besides, they need to get themselves off my insurance plan by notifying Blue Cross that they don't accept some of their plans, so patients like me don't bother calling. Don't want that practice even if the doctor himself fantastic. The staff will make your life miserable

I went to see Dr. Lipton last week for neck and shoulder pain, which I have been suffering with since last October and has prevented me from exercising and more recently working.
He gave me a bunch of quick adjustments without explaining anything. Then repeated insisted that I try to do a push-up (which I could not and never have been able to do). He then told me I just needed to lift weights, do push-ups, and come back in a month.
The worst bedside manner I’ve ever experienced and the least helpful doctor’s visit. I really don’t understand the other reviews. Maybe he treats existing patients better?

Five stars , if I could give 6 I would- he takes so much care and concern with his patients . We drive 2 hours to see him. Mainstream Medical doctors today are black and white meaning they diagnose , prescribe , repeat but do not try to fix!!! Dr Lipton finds out how to fix, reverse, or cure the problem by making nutritional changes N using natural things not chemicals and poisons . Thanks for taking such good care of my husband . I highly recommend him. Also for people worried that insurance wont cover a holistic doctor and are scared to take the plunge I cant tell you how you should invest this money in yourself before buying that new pair of jeans or new sofa —-know that your health should come first you can make changes to live a better higher quality life ♥️ ??

Dr Lipton has been a key player in my body and mind health journey over the last 10 years. I haven't met another doctor I'd travel 20 miles to see on a regular basis or for a sick visit. He is kind and empathetic while being solution focused in his approach. His staff is welcoming, caring, accommodating.

Dr. Lipton has provided me with the best medical care I could ask for for the last couple of decades.His extensive knowledge of Western medicine, as well as his desire to be proactive with his patients is an excellent combination.I feel as though he listens intently to not only the symptoms that I present him, but any self diagnosis I may have come up with.This is extremely helpful because I’ve had quite a twisted medical history in my 66 years.He definitely knows when I’m providing him with good personal evaluation of my circumstances, and he knows when to tell me that I’m wrong about my diagnosis.His evaluation and recommendations to me are based on his training, his experience in the field, and the synergy we manifest in my office visits.The holistic approach, and the fact that he will entertain alternative thought, as evidenced by the fact that his wife, an acupuncturist, also works out of his office is a great comfort to me, as I enter the third trimester of my life.I could not be more pleased with the medical care I receive from Dr. Lipton and his associates at Narberth Family Medicine.

Dr Lipton is great to work with. He gets to the heart of what's going on quickly and often recommends holistic solutions versus jumping straight to medicine for things. He provides amazing adjustments during some visits and he engages his students in an interesting way. Thanks Dr Lipton for being awesome!

I am 36, married with 4 kids. My husband and I have been seeing Dr.Lipton for several years and couldn’t be happier. Dr.Lipton is someone who actually cares about his patients. He takes time to listen and has a thorough discussion every single visit. I never feel rushed. I am able to email him with questions to which he responds within hours. I feel like I am getting the best care I can with him and his team and I highly recommend to everyone!

My choosing to have a D.O. as my family physician is based on my believing that the whole person/body should be considered for treatment, rather than an isolated concern. Dr. Lipton is available not only by email but never a long wait for an appointment. In his practice he always has students shadowing him which adds a good dimension to treatment. As a patient, never do I feel rushed through an appointment. Time with the patient is important.

I am writing this review several years after having two visits with Dr. Andrew Lipton at his family medicine office. I must say his bedside manner was less than attractive. He questioned me as to why I was taking so many psychiatric medicines. He was upset with me because I would not continue with the medication he had prescribed for me. I had given it five days and it upset my stomach terribly. He told me that I was a difficult case. And furthermore that's he had other patients who are much sicker than I. I found his remarks to be inexcusable if I were a new patient seeking a doctor Andrew Lipton is not one I would recommend. He sells a great number of supplements all of them very expensive and gives the impression that he knows a great deal about many mystifying conditions and diseases. Beware of this doctor. And if I were you, I would check out his credentials.He went to an unknown and lower class medical institution which to my knowledge is for osteopathic or DO medical doctors. Had I had agreed with him, perhaps he would've been more pleasant. But because this man has a huge ego and obviously needs a great deal of affirmation, he was not to be reasoned with. Furthermore, be very wary of all the extras he offers. He is clearly a man trying to make money on his small business. It is my opinion that this man should have be investigated by the Better Business Bureau. He is a charlatan out to get your money.
