Joe is the best!!!!!! My husband and I have been working with him since 2021. He is very thoughtful in his approach to training and has adapted my training while recovering from injury. He keeps you accountable and gives you results, what more can you ask for.

After exploring the alternatives in Lower Merion Township, we chose Joe O’Hara and O’Hara Fitness to train our teenage son. Joe developed a program to increase our son’s strength and fitness in preparation for tackle football and lacrosse. The results have been excellent, and our son’s confidence has grown with his strength. Joe is professional, trustworthy and reliable. Our son enjoys both the challenge of the workouts and his positive interactions with Joe. We are very satisfied, and we strongly recommend O’Hara Fitness without reservation.

Joe O’Hara was my strength coach for a few years in high school. His programs are fantastic for strength gain, and training functional mobility. He places an emphasis on training with proper technique, which is something that is both absolutely necessary, and unfortunately not done enough with trainers. Whether you’re an aspiring power lifter, a body builder, or a total beginner, Joe O’Hara will make the program for you, and get you where you’re looking to go. You just have to stay consistent, and work hard. The rest will follow.

Joe is an amazing lifting coach and mentor. I worked with him for four years in high school, and he helped me learn how to lift for the first time, develop my technique, and truly fall in love with strength training. I feel incredibly lucky to have had Joe’s training in high school, and he helped me smoothly transition into my collegiate cross country and track career. Joe is kind and is dedicated to making your goals a reality. I can’t recommend Joe and his training enough!

I've only ever had great experiences working with Joe at O'Hara fitness- the individual programs are fantastic and the coaching and advice is second to none. Would highly recommend if you're looking to get serious about lifting or looking to improve in any sport!

Coach O’Hara was always a great trainer who consistently took individual strength needs and goals into account. I was introduced to coach O’Hara my junior year of high school when I found out I tore my ACL. When I felt like I couldn’t achieve my goals anymore because of my setback, Coach O’Hara made it possible that I recovered properly and in the healthiest way possible, and he also made me feel good about myself as at the same time I was recovering, I was also getting stronger and feeling better about myself. Coach O’Hara is a great coach and most importantly a great guy too.Thank you coach.

It’s easy to see that Joe has a passion for helping student athletes develop their strength and conditioning. I was especially impressed to learn that many of his athletes have achieved impressive state and national rankings thanks to his training program. I personally find that workouts provide meaningful results which keep me motivated - my daughter and I both really enjoy working out with him and I know that she especially will benefit as she grows and explores her athletic abilities. Would definitely recommend!
