We reserved a truck with Ryder a month in advance and the day before we were supposed to pick it up they gave our truck away because one of their other customers had an accident and “they took precedence over us” according to Nicole and gave our truck to them. I lost money waiting for another truck. The price was no where near what we were quoted. After returning the truck i recieved an email from Danielle Rooney, John Starr for a bill charging me $275 for a lockout. When my driver called them to open the truck he was told it was covered under Ryder roadside. Today I just received a bill for over $500 for that same lockout that was supposed to be free then it was supposed to be $275 now it’s over $500. I didn’t like dealing with a John either. He said one thing and it’s always another. Im still being billed for random things till this day. Nothing but hidden fees and over charging. I decided to go with another truck rental company and Im happy with their service. Ryder treats you like you don’t matter if you’re not a large trucking company renting a fleet of trucks. I would never rent a truck from Ryder again. I hope this review helps out some of the smaller companies out there. There is other places out there that will value you as a customer and not charge you for everything under the sun.

One of the worst Ryder locations I have ever been too. I came for oil change on my freightliner cascadian left with broken Tri-Pac apu. Workers here have attitude and they are very careless. Wouldnt recommend them

Bought a so called certified Ryder box truck last month and an hour off the lot it start having problems. Their lousy 30 day warranty drags their feet to get the truck approved for repair and the Ryder repair shop takes paying drop off customer ahead of warranty work. In the end they had my truck for 9 days!!! And I lost thousands of dollars in work! The extra charge for certified is a RIP off. Their warranty is a sham.
