Suburban has been out many times this year for a gas stove in my house. After spending 1700$ this year alone, a week after being “fixed” with a newly installed remote, the remote stopped working. I called suburban, and want them to come back out to fix what hardly lasted one week since their last visit. Never got a return call, a week after silence I finally reached back out. Was told, that the operations manager would be in touch- have not heard from
him. I refuse to pay another $150 for them to come out and fix what didn’t last the most recent visit. I feel very let down with this company as I am trying to be a loyal customer but looking to change providers since they can’t return phone calls or waive a return fee to address the non working stove.

had them set up a tank for me during a 11 day festival for my food trailer. Communication was easy and I asked them to move the tank in during the middle of the fest, so I was able to hook up and leave when it ended. They were very accommodating and were able to move it! Highly recommend Suburban Propane of Nazareth

Charges to mark tanks and lines for equipment they own but charge customer to lease.
Prudent homeowners call 811 to have utilities marked prior to excavation, landscape projects and the like. 811 resources includes public and private. Private are the likes of Verizon, Astound and other companies that have data cables and communication cables and other buried infrastructure. However, suburban charges to do this even though their customers are paying to lease tanks regardless of the age of the infrastructure or how much they have depreciated. This is poor and they are obviously in the need of regulation and oversite. Recently I had used 811 and there was a split of 50/50. 3 Public utilities and 3 private companies all were marked with no charge. I don't have time to write the my state rep but I will be eliminating my stove and dryer which mark the last 2 (stove and dryer) of 5 (eliminated furnace, fireplace, pool heater) appliances that use propane then Suburban Propane can see how profitable they can be with aging infrastructure that generates no revenue.

Contacted Suburban Propane with a billing concern last year. A neighbor witnessed the technician waste a significant amount of propane while attempting to fill my tank. Apparently, it was enough to send a plume of gas into the air. I suspected that wasted gas was still added to my bill as the preexisting amount plus the amount that tech claimed to have added did add up to what was actually in the tank. Asked for my account to be placed on hold. They agreed and advised that a local manger would be in contact with me to discuss further. I was never contacted. One year later, they arrived out of nowhere and added 35 gallons to the tank. The $230 bill was left on my door. I contacted them and they acknowledges the error, but have not made arrangements to retrieve the erroneously delivered propane or to remove the balance from my account. Once again, a manager was supposed to contact me to discuss further, but it’s been over a week and nobody has contacted me yet. They are expecting me to pay them for something I did not order and do not want.

The absolute worst propane service company. Customer Service is horrible. Managers are worse and they think they are the only game in town. There are much better and cheaper options Take the time to look elsewhere. You'll be glad.

I’ve been a customer of Suburban Propane for several years. When I left my previous propane supplier due to unfair pricing I spoke with many suppliers. Suburban won my business and loyalty with their fair and honest way of doing business. Their employees are knowledgeable and always put customer satisfaction at the top of the list. Give them a try, you won’t be disappointed.

Suburban propane team was awesome by making our move so easy. However, I think it’s appropriate to notify the homeowners if you are planning a delivery so that the homeowner can schedule time correctly.
