About Leiper Historic House
Leiper Historic House is a beautiful building on a hill with a lovely view of Leiper Park and Crum Creek. The kind and knowledgeable staff give guided tours, speaking at length about the history of the building, Leiper himself, and general local history. Across the road is a little park along Crum Creek with mowed grass and picnic tables, which is a nice place for activities like fishing. It is a historic site that visitors enjoy.

I really enjoyed my guided tour of this historic house and grounds. There was a lovely view from the second floor of the house (which was built on a hill) of Leiper Park alongside Crum Creek.

Nice place to take your kids fishing, and if you're lucky, your beautiful 8 year old will drop his first f-bomb while you're at an historic site!

An unknown gem. Even though it was closed we enjoyed ourselves. We looked up the Lieutenants history and thought about how it was back then. An amazing man.
