The Beaver County YMCA is a community-focused organization that aims to bring people together to learn, grow, and thrive. It offers a variety of facilities and programs suitable for all ages, including a pool, sports activities like basketball, and a space for birthday parties. Many members appreciate the friendly atmosphere, especially the early morning crew, and have enjoyed taking their children to the daycare and summer camp programs, which are known for professionalism and care. The YMCA provides amenities such as a fitness weight room, sauna, steam room, and a therapy pool, supporting health and wellness activities like swimming. However, some reviews mention concerns about the facility's cleanliness, noting that the pool deck and hot tub walls sometimes appear dirty, and that the water quality could be improved. Additionally, the weight room can feel crowded, and some equipment, like a rusted multitrainer, needs updating. Membership costs are also a point of discussion, with some feeling it may not be worth the price unless they receive a free membership. Despite these issues, the YMCA continues to be a place where community members come together for fitness, fun, and social connection.
I brought my friend in hospice to the therapy pool twice in 2022. It was magic for her, the last time she could float and stand. The staff was helpful and respectful to her and I am forever grateful.

Weight room gets a little claustrophobic. Early morning crew is very pleasant. Some of the equipment could be a lot better, like that rusted multitrainer near the bench presses. I only go here because I got a free membership. If I’m honest it’s definitely not worth the price.
