“Goddard School of Blue Bell (202) – A Truly Special Place

I highly recommend this preschool — it has stood the test of time for our family. Fourteen years ago, we enrolled our daughter here and found a nurturing environment filled with stability, compassion, care, and meaningful learning. Director Melissa Flowers, along with teachers Melissa and Marley, made a lasting impact on her early education. From the very beginning, they provided incredible support and understanding, especially recognizing the anxiety and uncertainty that young mothers and families often feel during those first steps into early childhood education.

Twelve years later, when we needed a daycare for our twin boys, Goddard of Blue Bell was the first place that came to mind. I didn’t hesitate for a moment. To my surprise and delight, the same strong leadership was still in place, and Director Melissa Flowers , and both teachers Melissa and Marley were still there, ready to make my sons' preschool journey just as joyful and enriching. It’s hard to believe that now, they’re already preparing to graduate this May.

We’ve also been so impressed with newer staff like Mrs. Sandy, who brings creativity and excitement into the classroom — teaching concepts like metamorphosis and grammar through playful, hands-on activities. Since Mr. Michael became the new owner, we've noticed many thoughtful and innovative improvements — from an emphasis on healthy snacks to facility upgrades, enriching programs, summer camp, and fun visiting guests. School events and holidays have become even more engaging. For example, this past Halloween included a festive parade, decorated trunks, and fun games that the kids absolutely loved.

For our family, the Goddard School of Blue Bell is more than a school — it’s a warm, welcoming, and consistent part of our children’s lives. Even after all these years, our daughter still feels the same cozy, joyful atmosphere when she walks the halls to pick up her little brothers. That lasting impression says it all.”

“For six years our children have attended Jolly Tots Little School. When seeking a childcare facility we had a strong desire to find a place that focused on the development of social skills such as kindness, sharing, and personal boundaries. We desired outdoor play and the core values that shape a child’s personality as the root of a school’s structure. We knew that national facilities have high employment and enrollment turnover as well as canned academic curriculums that force certain skills before children are ready. Many of us who enroll our children at Jolly Tots are educators, and we see the importance of a balanced approach of social and academic development and the need for these to be age appropriate. Jolly Tots is just that!! Our children view Jolly Tots’ teachers and schoolmates as family. When it’s weather appropriate, the teachers highly value outdoor activities. They encourage kids being KIDS!!! They also set time aside each morning for class through fun and creative lessons. Because Jolly Tots does not deliver a rigid curriculum like the national centers, teachers are able to be flexible and implement new ideas at any time. They differentiate to meet the needs of their students because they can. My daughter, who has always been an eager learner, could read before kindergarten. Our four year old son, who does not share the same interests, prefers to keep “school” at school and we follow his lead. Sure enough out-of-the-blue this past spring he decided to show us he could write his name!!! This is something we never worked on at home with him and he was so proud to show us this achievement. If you want your child to receive age-appropriate academic lessons, develop social skills through play (especially outdoor when possible), and feel as though they are visiting family during their time there, then Jolly Tots is for you. Our children have thrived because of the teachers at Jolly Tots Little School and have made a life-long impact on who they are socially and academically. We feel incredibly fortunate!”

“Kiddie Academy of Plunsteadville has been an amazing place for my girls to learn and grow! Prior to joining KAP we had a negative experience with a childcare center, and I was apprehensive about introducing my girls to a new school. “La Petite is a home away from home for our son. The teachers and Miss Katie (school director) work tirelessly to provide children a loving and safe environment. Our son has been enrolled here for the last 2 years and we are beyond grateful for all the effort that is made to help him feel included and supported.

“My child has been at COA, Southampton for 3 yrs now! I would give them 5 stars every year she has attended this daycare/pre-school. She is full time, 5 days a week for 9hrs-11hrs a day.

Now, to the public and potential new parents reading this review. Yes, I really would rate them 5 stars for 3 years straight. Camera's for viewing your child are great, especially when your stuck at work and stressing you need to get your child. A few click on the keyboard and you can see that more often than not, your child is still running around happy not even noticing your late. Even though you can not zoom, you can still see what is happening. Most day cares do not have camera's. Ms. Shawna and Ms. Lena are attentative and responses with any concerns, questions, etc. Teachers have responded to questions on weekends and after hours. They also have extended hours, summer programs, before school and after school drop off.
This daycare has 4 Keystone Stars, google that! Keystone stars are very hard to receive and are provided by the state.

We love the staff and the center! Miss Elena, Miss Michelle and Miss Kailer in the office are all so helpful and super friendly! “You can really feel how much the director (Kathy) and assistant director (Katie) care about the well being of the kids. They are very proactive in addressing concerns and come up with plans to assure each kid is fitting right into the COA community. I cannot be any more thankful I found this facility. “Since day 1, the Goddard Family has been so welcoming. Every teacher has helped my Daughter in their own special way. Having a speech impediment and being a Covid baby, she was a little behind. In no time, she was catching up to her classmates and has opened up to be a shining star. I wouldn’t call Goddard a “Day Care” as these kids are truly learning and being prepared for their own districts school. “I highly recommend Chesterbook Academy Chalfont. Our now 7 year-old started at CA when he was 6 months old - and continued on until transitioning to NP Kindergarten. We were partners in his growth every step of the way— from celebrating milestones to working through developmental steps that took more time. The entire team handled the new challenges of COVID with flexibility, positivity and grace. More recently, during a difficult time, they were there for us like family – checking in, offering help and providing incredible flexibility with our daughter’s schedule. “What can I say.... Chesterbrook Academy-Horsham is a great school. My son started in Feb 2021 in the toddler's room and recently graduated this year and now is on his way to kindergarten. When my husband and I started looking for schools to meet my son's needs, we took him along to every visit. When he entered CBA for our visit, we were greeted by the Principal and Assistant Principal, and my son embraced them right away (and he does not do that with everyone). By the end of the visit, I told the former Assistant Principal (now Principal) that I think we made a decision. The progression I have seen over the years with my son is amazing and CBA plays a major part in his growth. If you are looking for a positive environment for your child where the teachers and staff work together to make sure that your child is equipped with the early tools for the future, then Chesterbrook Academy- Horsham is the place.”

“Little Sprouts is incredible. My daughter has gone to the Sumneytown location for the past year and a half and my wife and I could not be happier that we were lucky enough to end up at Little Sprouts. The office staff (Jessica, Destiny and team) are amazing - friendly, kind, and incredibly helpful. They are always there to greet us in the morning and to answer any questions we have via the app, email, or in person. The teachers are just as amazing. Our daughter has been in two of the classrooms and has had Marianne, Lauren, Gwen, and Liz as teachers, plus all the other teachers that help in various classrooms throughout the day. I don't know if we'll ever be able to thank them enough for the way they've cared for our daughter. She has truly learned so much from her teachers, done such cool art projects, and had so much fun. Finally, Jess K in enrollment is incredible and is the reason we came to Little Sprouts in the first place. We can't thank her enough for finding space for our daughter when we first moved to North Wales.
