We are locals to the area and are fortunate that our elementary and middle schools use Fountainblu for skate nights. This year we have started attending day skates as a family. It is a great way to get out and have a family friendly activity. We hosted a birthday party in their blacklight room recently and found the experience great! We recommend it for a low key party for kids.I attended a Retro Night with two of my daughters. One being in middle school, but becoming a proficient skater still wound up getting knocked down by a skater. Only complaint from going to a night skate is the lack of courtesy from older teens/ young adults on the rink, while I empathize with wanting to cut loose and skate fast; it should not happen at the detriment of other skaters. The highlight of Retro night was the Shuffle Skate and seeing the experienced skaters show off. Also Retro night did a gender skate song, which was lots of fun too.All and all I highly recommend giving Fountainblu a try if you are looking for an activity in central PA.

Check out this amazing rink located in New Cumberland, PA. Fountainblu is massive! This rink features a 180’ x 85‘ hardwood skating surface. There’s a ginormous, disco ball in the center of the floor! There’s a clipboard for requests. They have skate specials posted in the main lobby and in the snack bar. There’s also a beginners rink at this location. It’s a decent size to learn and gain confidence before hitting the main floor. I heard the retro roll is pretty cool. Music from disco to the 2000s.

I grew up in the area and spent nearly every Friday evening of my childhood and young adult years skating with friends at Fountainblu Skating Arena. Actually, it was Hagey's many, many years ago but became Fountainblu in the late '90s if my memory serves me well. It absolutely warms my heart knowing it's still in business providing enjoyment for families in Central PA!I'm sure the times have changed but I'll comment on the general overview of the arena for those who haven't been here. There's plenty of parking spaces available and the entire space is accessible for wheelchair users. The restrooms are clean. There are plenty of rental skates available (again, this may have changed since I was a kid).My childhood was spent here and it was a special place. I sincerely hope families in the area still enjoy their time at Fountainblu!

GO HERE !!! ( all caps and three explanation points) This place played my jam... It's a great , eclectic place. My 4 and no more have a blast.. I wish hours were different but whatever. The owner is funny in a cynical way.. but very honest and a good dude. Read his rebuttal comments to low ratings... He skewers the one star reviews! Go here..

Used to come here every weekend for years when I was a teen, came back last weekend for the first time in a couple years and I can say it hasn’t changed abit! Still as magical and well kept now as it was then. So thankful for this rink and the people who love it too.

It's fun. I always go skating with my friends on Friday, because the high school is super close by. The only problem is that the disco ball is never used, and it would defo make the experience 10x more enjoyable tbh.SUPER cheap btw. It's like 13 or 14 dollars to get in a rent skates. Great for kids who obviously don't have a lot of money who want to have fun.Edit: Don't worry I know. That wasn't the real reason I gave 4 stars I promise ??. Main reason is that sometimes it seems a little short staffed and people get away with a lot of stuff there. I do love it there. Very fun. I love yall dw.
