Had a hip replacement December 7th and released on the 8th had 6 prescription called in on a Friday went to pick them up but pharmacy closed at 1:30 and told not open till Monday. After many calls found out the insurance company paid them already and another pharmacy could not fill them now I must go the entire weekend without my medication no wonder they are going out of business.

Ihave been with Riteaide for 5yrs and have no problems at all with they're service .Iwas a customer when I lived in another town but then I moved to New Cumberland and Continued my service here .Thank you for a great service .

Store opens when ever it want its 9:20 am customers been coming in and out but closed hours are open at 9 am guess they show up when they feel like it .

I am new to New Cumberland and chose your Rite Aid for my Pharmacy due to Rite Aid's reputation and convenient location. This is the 3rd time I have interacted with the Employees in the Pharmacy. The Women that assisted me were lifeless, emotionless, not friendly nor made any eye contact. Both women appeared to be bothered while interacting with myself and other customers. I have encountered this lack of service and apparent annoyance every time I have been to the Pharmacy. It is a shame that a select few employees can damage an otherwise solid reputation that Rite Aid has worked so hard to establish. I am strongly considering choosing another Pharmacy to better meet my needs.

Absolute joke of a pharmacy. It's never open but they are more than happy to bill your insurance for a prescription they won't let you pick up. Hope it closes down and an actual worthwhile business takes its place.

Edit: they NEVER answer the phone. So dont even bother trying. When the pharmacy is supposed to be opened its closed. The wait time for medicine is ridiculous. We turn the car off everytime we pull up to the window. Also, they NEVER have my mothers medicine. Its been almost a year atleast once a week maybe even twice back and forth with the same reply. They ordered it but, never came in..... Even though some how some way they always have an emergency amount of it but, never enough to give her the amount she's supposed to get. Its just getting old at this point that they never have the medicine then claim the Dr never sends it in. She calls the doctor everytime and they reassure they did and even provide a time and date they did so. We're going to a new pharmacy.

I pulled up to the pharmacy window at 1:29 to pick up the prescription that was out of stock when my doctor sent it to them. They told me they were on lunch and can't fill any prescriptions. Maybe keep a healthy inventory level so I could have gotten it the day my doctor sent it over? I've had so many terrible experiences at this pharmacy and they're always understaffed and rude. I wouldn't advise anyone to go here unless it's life or death.

I was at the Rite Aid Pharmacy to pick up my prescription at the Old York Rd., New Cumberland, PA 17070 location. I was already not feeling well, hence the need for the medicine and my experience with the one pharmacy employee was not positive or respectful. This employee's name is Halie, tall blonde, young woman. This is the first time I have submitted a complaint about a Rite Aid Pharmacy employee, butthis has happened more than one time with Halie and I couldn't let it go any longer.Everytime I am there to pick up a prescription, I am met with this same rude behaviour from Halie. When I ask her a question, Halie looks at me as if she hates me for asking a question or doesn't answer me at all, she even rolled her eyes at me this last time. Even so, I still always smile and thank you, but next time I'm going to ask her if she hates the customers. When I say thank you to her, I don't get a response in return except a look of contempt. Your pharmacist and another employee Drew are both very nice, so I can't figure out why Halie either hates her job or just hates customers in general. I also observed she treated the elderly customer in front of me the same way and he didn't deserve that either. I understand that many businesses are having trouble finding and keeping qualified employees, but Halie's behavior is unacceptable for any reason. Halie is in the wrong profession and I am looking into other prescription providers.

Went to get scheduled vacinnes for myself and my mother. Pharmacy is locked up tight. No pharmacy staff at 3pm on a Wednesday afternoon. No phone call or email to cancel appointments. Done with Rite Aid

Was told prescriptions would be ready at 2:20, my fiancé went to pick it up for me at 4:30 & it wasn't ready. They then gave him an attitude about it not being their fault. This is not helping with my illness and pain at all and I'm truly disappointed.

If I could give this store zero stars I would. It’s the worst pharmacy I have ever been to. They don’t answer the phones, they’re closed when they’re supposed to be open, they don’t refill your prescriptions until last minute or until you’re at the store asking for them. The customer service is horrid.

My prescriptions are NEVER filled when my doctor sends them in. I always have to call and they get rude with me for calling. Numerous times they said if it wasn't for people like me calling all the time, there wouldn't be an issue getting scripts filled on time. They told me my prescription would be filled yesterday. I called today ON A SATURDAY and they are now closed Saturday along with Sunday. What pharmacy is closed 2 days in a row AND doesn't fill scripts that are needed on time? On Monday, I will be contacting my doctor and asking them to send my prescriptions to a new pharmacy. By far the most unprofessional and not to mention, unethical, pharmacy I have ever dealt with. I honestly do not know how it's legal for them to, at the very least, contact you to let you know your stuff is going to be delayed.

Went to pick up a prescription and the tech told me it was not ready yet and to give her a half hour or so. Ok, no problem! I asked to make sure how late they would be open because I had to run to Lancaster - she said 8pm. I get there at 4:15 and it’s closed. I talked to front desk and she said they decided to close early today and I could just come tomorrow to get it. I explained the situation that this would be day 2 without it (mix up with offices and faxing things) and with the type of medication it is I can’t just abruptly stop taking the medication without potential risky side effects. Not that I expected the front desk to solve my problem because it wasn’t her fault they closed! Extremely frustrated with this locations pharmacy!!!!

Don't ever use this Rite aid.I have been on medication since I was 5. In my entire life, I've never dealt with a worse pharmacy than this rite aid.You randomly close the drive thru and don't post it on your website that it's closed. Sick people use the drive thru because they can't go in. I have a special needs dog who can't be left alone long enough to go inside the pharmacy. Your pharmacist is an absolute jagoff. After explaining that it's not posted anywhere about the drive thru being closed, but that I have a special needs dog and can't come in, he rudely responded "I said the drive thru is closed".There is a younger woman tech who is very nice. The rest of the pharmacists are jerks. You're slower than any business I've ever seen, and you will go out of your way to make the lives of sick, elderly, and people in need of medication as terrible as possible.For the record it's illegal to not notify publically that your drive thru is closed.I loathe how you run your business. Have a day.
