The post office has progressively gotten better. The delivery folks are often kind and seem to work hard. Nothing is perfect, it can always be better (esp govt services) but in this case felt a positive word was needed among all the complaints.

I manage a business. The drivers in the area, are rude, and don’t know how to do the tasks their jobs entails! Worst customer service I’ve ever experienced!

Never seem to get my stuff on the day it’s supposed to arrive. I think they hold packages just to tick people off. Today tracking said out for delivery and then later it said it was back at the post office! Wth? Must be nice to do whatever you feel like doing at your job and get away with it. People need there stuff, let’s start delivering it on time!

One of my Amazon packages was to be delivered by USPS yesterday. Then, for the second time this week, the package was not delivered and the USPS claimed it was because my “front door or driveway was blocked” (neither of which is/was true). However, instead of being sent out for delivery today, it was held at the post office for pickup. So I went to the New Freedom post office this morning. I was waited on by an older man with white hair and a beard. I told him that my package was being held for pickup, and that I would like to pickup that package at that time. The man asked me what my address was and when I told him, he told me that the package would be out for delivery today because they had “3 people working that route today.” I explained to him that I didn’t necessarily trust that information, because the tracking information still said the package was being held for pickup and it was past 10 AM at that point. Instead of simply looking to see if the package was still there for me to pickup, the man kept telling me “We have 3 people working that route today.” I again asked whether he was sure because I didn’t want to take the chance of it not being delivered today and then the post office being closed the next day and then only open from 8AM to 4PM during the week (which makes it impossible for me to come in due to my work schedule). The man looked at me blankly and simply said again, “We have 3 people working that route today.” Zero effort made and clearly as a customer I was being an inconvenience to the man “working” the counter. It’s sad when you can’t trust the USPS to not only deliver your packages but also give you the packages they are holding behind the counter when you come to pick them up.

This postal system is an embarrassment to the united postal service. We and SEVERAL neighbors get wrong packages /letters every week. It needs a serious audit.

HORRIBLE customer service! Staff have attitudes! Don’t receive my mail on a consistent basis. Packages have been crammed or left hanging out of my mailbox.

Absolutely ridiculous! The New Freedom Post Office 17349 is completely out of control! Specifically, and not including receiving my neighbors mail on a consistent bases! Not receiving my (first class) mail several days later! The height of complacency or is it incompetence! For those who are having the same concerns as myself, I would strongly encourage to make a complaint with the New Freedom Post Office- Obvious with a 1.9 rating out of 5!

So now they don't consider new freedom mail "local ". What's up with that. Has to go to Harrisburg in order to be counted since they are paid by the piece. And now their new delivery vehicles take up most the parking. What about the patrons. Worst customer service ever. Been a resist for almost 50 yesrs..

Don't come in here unless your package is perfect or make sure you have a fist full of cash because they inspect it. Starting a small business? Go somewhere else to ship your stuff you aren't welcome here. Staff always has a attitude. Only one person here is nice. I pray for them. Most hate their job.

I agree with what Andrea said in her review. That guy has always been the worst with a bad attitude. Every time I'm in there someone comes in saying they received someone else's mail. I worked in New Freedom and parents within the same zip code would mail tuition checks and it would take 3 to 4 weeks to receive them.
