A friend recommended Groomingdales in New Holland. My dog was 9 mo. old and never been groomed and needed it badly. Barbara was awesome! She took her time over a couple of visits til my Maddie was ready for the clippers and cutting her nails. I could tell that she knew exactly what to do and I learned a lot from watching her handle a puppy. I appreciated that. My Maddie wasn't easy to do but when I took her back she wasnt afraid to go in. Thanks and see you soon.

We took our 5 month old golden doodle there for his first groom and were not impressed. The workspace is so tiny, you can barely move around. It’s also cluttered and very dirty. We were the first clients of the day, and there was mounds of hair left all over the floor from the previous day. Before leaving, I told the groomer that this was his first groom, but that he had baths and had been brushed at home. When I picked our puppy up I was told that “he was a handful but was showed who was boss”. What does that mean? I don’t like hearing that and not knowing what happened to my dog while I was gone. He’s a very gentle and well mannered dog, but I know he was probably nervous. Plus she doesn’t take cards. It’s so easy to set up a square account, there should be no reason not to take cards. She should also let her new clients know that she doesn’t take cards before they hand her one to pay.

I've been getting Ty Guy cut here for over a year now (Approx 3 visits) and she does great. Looks good, smells good, good price.
