120ish steps, elevator broken for 4 years. Narrow last flight of steps. Beautiful views. Interesting history.

Bowman's Hill Tower was a fun outing. Once you climb the 120+ steps (I counted 124 on the way down), you are treated to a 360 degree view of the area, including views of the Delaware River. I plan to visit again in the fall to take in the autumn leaves which I can only imagine adds a new dimension to the trip.
Be prepared to climb. The first 100 steps are spiral stairs that can accommodate two across (good in case someone is headed in the opposite direction). There is a small landing right before the narrowest steps that only accommodate one at a time.
At the tower itself the view is the only real attraction but you can pair a trip with a visit to the Wildflower Preserve. If you tell them you are doing both you can get a discount. We paid full price at the tower and a discounted price when we got to the preserve. I imagine it would work both ways

I climbed the tower with my friend, and it was a great experience. Plus, we learned a lot of history. Like how the tower was an American watchtower during the Revolutionary War. It also had a stunning view

Beautiful area along the Delaware River. Drive up the steep hill to the tower and walk around. Visit the gift shop and enjoy the scenery. If you want to go to the top of the tower there is a fee, When we were there last, the elevator was not working so you get some cardio to climb to the top. Once there the views are impressive. Nearby is the Nature preserve and there is a restaurant at the bottom of the hill along River Road. Both are very good.

$7 to climb 124 stairs to the top, great view of the area, make sure you come the back way so that you come through the covered bridge

I loved everything about this place! I went up here while I was taking a vacation in Newtown, and to say the view was stunning in autumn is an understatement!I bought tickets online and was allowed in very quickly by the staff. The flights of stairs were a pain, but nothing I couldn't handle. I think this is because I'm young. I'll feel it when I get older haha! The view was spectacular! The miles and miles of transforming leaves were stunning! It made me think how the view would look hundreds of years ago when there were no houses or modern interruptions!I stayed there far longer than I anticipated. 40 minutes was probably overkill, but I couldn't help myself. It was nice seeing everything so small like toys and feeling my mortality. It helped me appreciate my life more.I would highly recommend this place if you like to spend some time alone while looking at nature! I might be biased because I went here on a Thursday during November where visitors are less. Anyway, it was a great time!

Visited in fall season during beautiful trees around. Close to new hope town and Delaware River. While going uphill to bowman hill tower make sure vehicle is in good condition.. there is short steep hill ride.Good enough parking space and 1 restroom. There is information center with one guy available for tickets ?️ supply. It costs 7$ for adults. Don’t forget to take stickers says I climbed the tower ?. As I have seen in last 1 years google comments, elevator is still not working. Climbing stairs may not be big challenge.. but last few rounds at top are really narrow and hard for tall persons. Views at top are worth to climb and 7$ ?️. Overall all it takes less than 30mins to complete visit

Gorgeous views from a historic structure, but tickets are $7 per adult, which seems a bit pricey for a big stairwell on a hill. Not like it's used to fund extensive maintenance - there are no facilities on site other than a few picnic tables and one porta potty, the nearby fences are pretty old and rotted, and the elevator is out of order. With this last point in mind I wouldn't recommend it to anyone with mobility issues, at least until the elevator is fixed.

Great view of PA and NJ mountain ranges and Delaware water gap.Elevator out of service, 5-10 mins walk up the stairs. $7 fees to get to the top of the tower regardless of elevator or stairs.Parking on site. Porta potty near parking.

The tower is cool. I had higher expectations. There is not much to see outside a a great view. It is very expensive for what it is. At $7 per person, it is hard to justify taking a family there. You will spend less than 5 minutes going up. 5 minutes on top, trip down and that is literally it. There is nothing else. I wouldn't go back, the views are not worth $7

It's definitely an amazing view. If you are a tall person, I'd say it may be questionable if the last set of stairs would be "worth it" for you...I'm 5' and when I started walking up those, that was my first thought. They are very, very narrow, and the ceiling is low.Well worth the climb. Be sure that you purchase your tickets online or use cash.

Historic & worth the visit!! If your in the New Hope / Lambertville area, come check out Bowman’s!Lots of nature view; picnic benches; walking around areas. It was $7 per adult. Took the walk all the way to the top! Lots and lots of winding steps make it so fun! Beautiful view from the top! When we went in June, the elevator was down so just a FYI if you are not able to do the climb.

They stop you to pay $7. Be sure to cross that first closest bridge across the deleware River, so you can see the tower from the other viewpoint!

Bowman’s Hill Tower was really cool. The road leading up Windy up to top of the hill was very steep and windy. The elevator to top of tower was out of service and it still cost $7 per person to climb the stairs. It was really dark and steep. I was winded when I reached the top. I visited in mid November so leaves were all gone, but the view was still fabulous
