The front person working (I think her name is Lori) needs to be trained better. The medication I need to take is expensive and instead of calling me they just decided to not fill it? She was incredibly flustered and didn’t apologize and I was waiting 20 minutes to no avail. The supervisor was good though and apologized.

Switched to Giant from CVS. They are incredibly helpful, take time to explain and they fill RX much quicker than CVS. They are also more reliable for having medications in stock.

We were in the are and this was a nice supermarket. No complaints and my son had fun as usual, seriously supermarkets are his thing lol. I liked this place better than the other market in the area.

After shopping at the store for several years I have come to know many of the employees. They are always friendly, courteous, and helpful. If I can't find something they take me to it rather than just point me in the direction. The manager, michael, and Anne have gone above and beyond for me.

Had to wait over 15 minutes for a prescription pickup! Person ahead of me had many issues and with only one register for checkout, there was no way to provide better service! The Giant Pharmacy employee was very apologetic for this very long wait! If you want to keep your customers, you should install a second register! Thank you!

I've lived in Solebury for almost 18 years and think our Giant store is basically okay, but have a problem with interactions with staff. They are generally rude and NEVER seem to smile; look like they don't want to be there. Maybe some customer service training? When you say hello to them they usually ignore you. I'm glad McCaffery's now offers an alternative to Giant because their prepared foods are better, but Giant generally has a larger selection of regular goods and sales on many items, so I still go there occasionally. (Note: Exception to above negative comments; Giant's Starbucks is awesome and friendly - Dave, Juliet and Bern are so friendly it makes grabbing a coffee a pleasure! )

I used to shop here way back when the store was new. It was a great store back then. I moved out of the area for almost 20 years and came back and this store is a wreck. They don't have much of a selection to begin with for the size of the store. They have a lot of empty shelves. The thing that I really hate about this place is that there is never more than one register open. There are at least 10 or more self checkout lanes now. I have no problem doing self checkout when I have a few items. It seems every time I try to checkout there is at least one item that I have to enter manually that is not in the system. There is never anyone watching over the self checkout so if there is a problem you are are on your own. I usually end up just getting frustrated and leaving the item behind on the counter. I think in the future if I can't ring it up I will just throw it on my bag. What can they do fire my from a job I did not apply for or want because I made a mistake!

I visited this Giant store in New Hope on Feb 13, 2023. After self-checking out on their terrible self-check system, I wanted to visit the Customer Service counter. It was closed. 5:00 pm on a Monday, and the customer service counter's closed. A posted sign read to the effect of: "closed due to employee shortage". Standing right next to the counter, leaning on a grocery cart, chatting, were two experienced employees who have previously worked the counter. Ten feet away, in the exit aisle, three more employees having a gab fest. There were also two checkout employees doing nothing. They may have the lowest price point in town, but the management and customer service is the worst I've ever seen. I'll never go back to this store.

The prices are the prices, a little high, but that's to be expected all over. It's the associates here, like Mary, Annie, Leesha, Laura & Daniel that make the difference for me. They are very helpful, courteous and have a great attitude.

One of the few grocery stores in the area. Been going here all my life: reliable store, friendly staff, and nice array of products. I love their natural/organic section of the store and refillable Kombucha tap.Okay pricing but that's kinda how grocery shopping is these days. Definitely get the rewards card because my parents always have enough points to get free turkey and ham for all the different holidays!Also...there is a Starbucks inside this Giant as well!
