We have been to this place many times on our way from PA. I pulled in today to park in the front parking lot. There is no sign indicating that cars should be parked a certain way. My wife went in to shop and I waited in the car. A silver hair "Karen" (I assumed to be the owner after reading the low rating reviews) came knocking at my window and started lecturing me (in a loud voice) that "I should not park illegally because it might cause an accident". First there is no sign to indicate how car should be parked. Second, she could simply ask the customer to move the car and park the right way. Third, there was also another car parked the same way I did, in the same direction so obviously the parking rule was not clearly shown or observed. Fourth, there was no need to be rude and nasty. A little bit of civility goes a long way. There is a simple fix. Perhaps the owner should put a clear sign showing customers the right way to park so there is no confusion.

Bucks County beware, do not do business with these folks! Husband and wife owners maintain a growing/distribution area near a food pantry in Doylestown, where many newly food insecure people (like myself) have to unfortunately visit from time to time. Food pantry clients sometimes make the mistake of blocking their driveway, and are met with insane harrassment and intimidation by the owners of this business. When confronted about why such an extreme response was necessary, their explanation is that "those people" meaning the food pantry clients, ruin their property values and that they don't want "those people" in their neighborhood. I understand blocking a driveway is frustrating, but the owners of The Living Earth stalk and harass the food pantry clients on a regular basis. I witnessed this many times myself, and had no idea that these bullies owned this business! Bucks County residents that aren't super wealthy, these owners think you are subhuman and it's time to finally expose them. I'm sure they will try to get this review taken down, but I will not stop until a public apology is made and the harrassment ends.

Sometimes you visit a garden center and spend looking to see if there is anything interesting. Not the case here! I spent more time trying to limit my purchases according to the amount of space I had in the back of my hatchback!I also have to mention how accommodating, knowledgeable, and friendly the staff and onsite owners are!

Living Earth is my absolute favorite gift and plant shop! An amazing selection of beautiful and unique products. They sell Pre de Provence soap, which is the most wonderful soap. Definitely worth a visit.

Great local business! Plants are top quality & beautifully taken care of before consumer purchase. It's your go to nursery if deer are an issue at your home, as they feature deer resistant plantings. The entire staff is knowledgeable, friendly & helpful. Nice selection of gift items, & it's where we get our annual Christmas wreath.

I have had some really good chats with the people who work here on what they carry, how to take care of the plants, and they even let me know some clearance price alternatives! The plants are always very well taken care of. The adorable bouquets and wreaths and plant accessories (like pots) can get pricey very quickly here though. Would totally recommend stopping and perusing if you're in the area though because they have enough variety that there will be something you'll like there. If you're a local, in the warmer months, they have good deals on healthy garden plant starters and some indoor plants (again, some get pricey quickly). Also, tip from a local, part along side of the building instead of in front of it or you'll have to carry your new plant babies down a flight of stairs out front!

Awesome selection of so many wonderful plants!! I was really impressed with the decorative pots too. The succulent corner was too cute, and lots of rare plants that are hard to come by these days! I scooped up a string of pearls that look so healthy, I can’t wait to cherish them for a long time. Great site, friendly staff

Rude from start to finish. One younger guy who works mostly outside is helpful but the owner(s) are snobs. They're prone to hanging up on customers or at best arguing with them like they're the only people who know anything about gardening. See other reviews (toward the bottom of course!). There are plenty of other garden centers in Bucks. I'm surprised The LE has lasted as long as it has.
