If everyone was so helpful and kind. My daughter was very worried about her cat. Leo is a bangle who has had a heart problem since birth. Doctor Emily and staff were extremely concerned and reassuring that everything with Leo was going to be okay. My daughter is more relaxed since our visit, and Leo is more loving.Would I recommend this veterinary hospital, absolutely!

I certainly should have listened to the poor reviews. Alas, for close proximity and being new to this side of the country I went there. So, I'd been a regular client with them for several months. My fifteen year old cat has arthritis so I took her in every four weeks for a Solensia shot as well as other veterinary needs. On one occasion she had an adverse reaction to the shot. The next morning her breathing was heavy, constricted, and her third eyelid was down.I did not know there was such a thing in cats as a third eyelid. All I knew was my cat suddenly looked like she had no eye and her breathing was alarming. I was panicked.I called the vet only to have the front desk person, Lori, tell me coldly there was nothing they could do for my cat and to take her to an emergency hospital an hour away. I was so focused on getting my cat help I didn't question this was not right. However about a month later I visited New Hope Veterinary in regards to my cat's eye care when I mentioned this in passing to the vet, Dr.Struening. She seemed perplexed that Lori had told me to go elsewhere. Yeah, I bet! This isn't the last with this person Lori at the front desk. The vet, Dr.Struening, had been trying to reach me on a call I put into her about tests being done. When I returned those calls Lori told me that I would have to set up a Zoom call. What? This is simply ridiculous.I let her know I would be speaking to the vet about her purposeful intent yet again to be maliciously unhelpful. Mind you I'd never been anything but friendly to this person up to this point.Minutes later Dr.Struening called me upset that I was mad at her for not calling me. Again, what?!! I knew she had tried at least twice. She informed me that Lori had told her I was fumed at her, Dr.Struening, and that Lori was crying because I took it out on her for the doctor not calling me back on demand. Such a huge lie! I was feeling badly I kept missing the doctor's calls. Wow. Total lie and she knows it. Not at all what the issue was. Alligator tears on Lori's part to cover her own hide and frame me as the villain. Typical narcissistic ploy.I don't understand why some people love to cause upset and instigate problems but she is certainly one of them. She even lied on my cat's records that I snap and that I was very upset with the vet. I did snap, at her and rightfully so. Still, nothing truthfully written about what the real issue was which is her stonewalling clients.I think Dr, Struening is fine but she wrongly defended this person. That's her bad and poor assessment of the what took place.Be aware vet owners, if there is a problem starting with the person who handles the calls forget it. You don't want to be turned away from your regular vet on the whim of a nasty desk person and left in dire circumstances when your pet's life is on the line.Go to another vet center where the staff are helpful.By the way, she isn't the only one there that is rude and counter helpful. There are some friendly people there but the bad apples make it a terrible choice for your veterinary needs. Don't find out the hard way that you will not be able to help your pet through this center when the chips are down. Truly unconscionable that the operators of the clinic allow this to go on and worse still, defend it.

New Hope Veterinary Hospital goes above and beyond for their patients. They've taken excellent care of my dog and cat, and saw us immediately when we had an emergency with our new puppy. Even with a major health scare, our new puppy has loved his time so much here that this is the first time we've had a dog wag his tail nonstop as soon as we get out of the car to go inside. They truly care about your pets and are always available to answer questions and see your animal. Would highly recommend!

Outstanding. Dog loved it, even though she was ailing at the time. Brought her back for some spa services. We are both happy with it!!!

Dr. Gerhard is the best! My dog hates the vet’s office & she makes appointment's so much easier! We drive 30 minutes to get there & even though we have vet’s closer to us, we won’t go to another place. The staff is always so nice! Highly recommend!

This is my second review of New Hope Veterinary Hospital. Again, I have to say how wonderful they have been for our family. We have a 2 year old Yorkie mix with multiple issues ranging from allergies, anaphylactic to bees and colitis. Every single issue we have had the front desk has been accommodating and kind. They always get us in as quickly as they can. I cannot give enough praise to Dr. Struening, who is extremely knowledgeable and so sweet to our boy Moose. We have come in with mysterious issues and she has always gotten to a successful diagnosis. The vet technicians always greet Moose with a big smile and have been so welcoming to us with every situation. We highly recommend New Hope Veterinary hospital to anyone looking.

Horrible experience, brought my dog in as he was lethargic, throwing up, not eating or using the bathroom. He was examined and sent home with probiotics which solved nothing as he wasn't eating. They NEVER did a blood test. I came home following a work trip a few days later and we immediately brought him to Blue Pearl Pet Hospital where he was admitted for 3 days and diagnosed with Addison's disease. The chief vet at Blue Pearl was disgusted when she heard that a blood test was not done. My dog's potassium levels were through the roof and his sodium levels were too low. We're lucky he's still alive. When I called to ask why a blood test was not done I was told it was to save money for their customers. This answer was the absolute worst as a simple blood test could have shown all the answers as to my dog's condition. After getting my dog back from the ICU we now go to Buckingham Animal Hospital and they are fantastic !!!!! On another note I used to board my two dogs there and the last time we boarded them my female dog had lost nearly 15 lbs. She looked awful. No explanation, phone call, nothing. Perhaps they were trying to save me money by not feeding her. Avoid this place. They care more about their pretty building than the welfare of the animals they "care" for.

Seriously helped me and my little shih tzu a ton. Had a serious scare where a tooth root abscess ruptured and i was told that the soonest Blue Pearl Veterinary hospital could take us was a month from then which is insane! New Hope Vet Hospital gave us a complimentary dental consultation the same day i called for help, AND they took my dog in for surgery 2 days after that. Even got a discount for the surgery. ALL of the doctors, nurses, and staff are incredibly friendly and caring. Highly recommend coming here!

Highly recommend.Thank you to NHVH for their kindness and compassion. After calling three other veterinarians in the New Hope area only NHVH was willing to help a stray cat whose hind legs had been injured. Not only did they agree to help immediately, they stayed open giving me time to get the cat to them. If you want your pet treated with compassion and kindness NHVH is the only place to go.

Dr. Marcus and the entire staff at NHVH have been absolutely wonderful in helping us navigate a frightening situation with our 5-year-old black lab, who ate something he shouldn't have. ?The warmth and efficiency of the front office staff was refreshing, especially when staffing concerns are an issue across industries at this time. Our pup is a new patient to this practice and we were treated with kindness and accommodation as they were able to get our pup seen the same day.Naturally, the medical staff boasts decades of experience and expertise, but they also demonstrated unparalleled compassion and calm in the face of a pretty challenging situation. Best of all, the level of communication throughout our experience was extraordinarily comforting to the humans in our family. We received timely updates each day.The final aspect of our very positive experience is that NHVH was able to perform the required surgery and care for a price that was ONE FIFTH the amount quoted by a nearby large, corporate animal hospital.I recommend contacting the compassionate and professional folks at NHVH to see if they are a good fit for you and the animals in your life.

We had a big scare with our Yorkie mix Moose getting stung by a bee ?. He had a severe reaction and I have been an absolute mess. The staff at the vet was so absolutely wonderful. Dr. G went above and beyond contacting me after hours as well as researching solutions for us for home emergency care. As well as Dr. Cerven reaching out to me during her personal time. Ally at the front desk is always so sweet and willing to help with all my questions. She was the calm when we brought Moose in for his emergency visit. This is our first dog and I can’t recommend them enough! Love them ?

Due to a move, we needed to find a new vet for our dog. After some researching we decided to go with New Hope Veterinary Hospital. The front desk staff, vet assistants and techs could not have been nicer. We saw Dr. Gerhard and she was wonderful with our dog. The office is extremely clean, modern and attractive. The painting of dogs on the lobby wall is amazing! We left feeling very comfortable with our decision to use this practice.
