Rice’s Market has been a beloved community staple in New Hope for over 150 years. Covering 30 acres of indoor and outdoor space, it is the oldest and largest flea market in Bucks County. Open from 7:00 am to 1:00 pm on Tuesdays and Saturdays from March to December, it attracts hundreds of vendors and thousands of shoppers each week. The market offers a mix of flea market, farmer’s market, antique bazaar, vintage thrift, and a food lover’s spot, making it a popular gathering place for locals and visitors alike. Vendors include well-known antique dealers, community artists, beauty consultants, clothing boutiques, and local farmers. Visitors enjoy finding unique and great deals, and many appreciate the friendly, pleasant vendors. While some mention that prices for clothing can be high and the atmosphere dusty, the market maintains its charm and continues to be a place for interesting finds. However, there is concern about potential development threatening its future, encouraging support for local business. Overall, Rice’s Market remains a vibrant, historic marketplace with a wide variety of goods and a welcoming community atmosphere.
