We had a really great stay at River House at Odettes. Starting with the valet, they were so kind and helpful. Check-in was a breeze and our room was beautiful and clean. The hotel is really close to downtown and there’s just a short gravel path and then some sidewalks to get downtown.Overall, we had a really great stay, and we would definitely go back!

Attended a friends wedding and most of the guest stayed here what a Gem!!! We all returned to the rooftop after the ceremony overlooking the night sky for a night cap and more food!!! What a blast!! The staff the room excellent loved my Vichy shower the view over looking the River

This is an awesome place. 7 months coming and always get topnotch service. Bar is great and so is the food. The rooms overlooking the river are a treat during sunset. Deck area to enjoy until winter months.

Spent New Year’s Eve here and it was well worth the cost. Rooms beautiful half with River views. Great restaurants including a roof top inside and outside bar.( only guests staying at hotel had key access). Check in and out smooth and easy. Particularly like car retrieval. They give you a text when you drop off your vehicle and you text “car” when you’re leaving and they text back when car is ready. Not standing around in lines waiting for your car Excellent.Dislikes-Drinks way over priced and, I’m not cheap. $20 added to your bill to park car when staying in the hotel! This is ridiculous, it cost enough for a room ! Would be nice if there was a pool and hot tub for warmer weather stays!Noteworthy details: 10 minute walk to New Hope along the river in good weather!!!

My husband and I celebrated our anniversary dinner at Odette’s. We got there a little early, sat in the lounge by the tree with a drink. For dinner, we had the small table in the lounge in front of the fireplace. We loved it. It was cozy and nice to not have anyone around us. Allen our waiter was awesome. My husband and I both had the veal chop. I got mine with crab meat. Delicious. We had a great bottle of wine. Only disappointment was the piano bar player was off tonight. Valet parking was no problem and lastly always great to see Alex. We completely enjoyed every minute of the night. Thank you all for making it special. We will be back.

Was extremely disappointed! Heard great things about it so booked it for a birthday dinner. The valet parking was horrible. We had to wait 10 minutes to get our car parked( no option for self parking.) tables inside were so close my chair was almost side by side with another guest. Our server was the bright spot. She was stellar. Quick and attentive. The food was sub par. Crab cakes were cold and had almost all filler. The truffle Mac and cheese was tasteless. Salads were doused in dressing. And extremely pricey for no reason. Will not recommend or go back!

We were a party of five on Christmas day. The overall experience was great from the valet staff , hostess and server. The restaurant was not at capacity so the noise level was perfect. Brian our server was helpful with menu suggestions and the meal flowed perfectly. I had one of the best pork chops I ever had. The cocktails were delicious. We will definitely return !!

As someone who frequently stays at River House, and has hosted events at their location, I am EXTREMELY disappointed in the hotel and their lack of accommodating services.A week ago, my mother passed away and my in-laws were going to fly into town to join us for the services. After some of the family contracted COVID, they decided not to fly in so they were not sick for the holidays. River House was initially accommodating and allowed our in-laws to transfer the room to us, which we then booked to use for our holiday stay. Unfortunately, my husband and I contracted COVID following the funeral, and were unable to use our rooms. Being pregnant with COVID, my doctor recommended we not travel or see anyone to ensure the safety of myself and the baby.After trying to call River House for 36+ hours, and leaving messages that were never returned, we were finally able to get a hold of River House who refused to assist us any further with our booking. They would not allow us to move our reservation, and confirmed they would move forward with charging us in full for our rooms. Although we explained the situation they said they would not accommodate us, and when we threatened to come sick with COVID, they said that would be ok. As a business, I find this absolutely irresponsible by putting your staff and guests at risk of getting sick. But what was even more upsetting was the lack of empathy and care from the staff. For a "luxury" stay, this property absolutely lacks the fundamental understanding of what luxury means in today's climate, and how customer service should be a priority vs. a disinterest.Additionally, my husband and I stayed at the property during the funeral and noticed the rooms could use a serious clean. There was 1+ inch of dust on the black rods above the closet. Paint was chipped off the blue furniture. Knobs were broken or incorrectly rotated on the furniture, and the brass fixtures in the bathroom were dusty and clearly not cleaned in some time.As a property that promotes itself for being a luxury property that is ranked by Travel and Leisure, they should seriously reevaluate their customer service, cancellation policies and hotel upkeep. Their focus should be less on chasing awards, and on maintaining a luxury experience people will actually want to come back too.Moving forward I will no longer stay at or recommend this property to anyone who visits Bucks County, and I hope Travel & Leisure seriously reconsiders including them on any list moving forward.As they say of the Plaza in Home Alone 2, "What kind of idiots do you have working here?" Certainly not the finest in New Hope.

Would not recommend anyone staying here. The hotel is likely full of sick guests. My wife came down with the flu 3 days before our stay, so we reached out to the hotel to see if we can be refunded and cancel our stay. The hotel proceeded to tell us it is their company policy that they do not refund guests if cancelling within 7 days of their stay. Apologies to the hotel for not scheduling my wife's bout with the flu more than 7 days in advance!
