If I could give this place a negative review, I would. Never. I repeat NEVER take your car to Tune the City in lower burrell!!!! I took my vehicle there to get inspected. He said he would inspect it for me. He called me when he was done with it and told me, "Make sure you bring cash so I can give you a little discount and not have to charge you to processing fee." I said, "I won't have time to go to the bank before they close so its fine just charge me the fee." He insisted I pay cash. So, I left work early to bring cash. I paid him $1000.00 for an alignment, new tires, an oil change, and stickers. When I got there he informed me he didnt didn't have inspection stickers but I was good to take the car and he would call me when he had stickers. He also never gave me a receipt. So, I waited 2 weeks for him to call me with stickers for the car. He never called. At this point my car was out of inspection for 2 weeks. I needed stickers so I decided to just go somewhere else to get stickers on the car. I took it down the road to midas (who has been so helpful and amazing through all of this) and they did an inspection. Upon their inspection, they found grease all over my tire, brakes, rotors. It was everywhere. Turns out the axel boot was burnt when they used the torch on the tie rod when Tune the City did the alignment. Midas informed me it was so bad, itcould have caused a fire!! Midas suggested I go back and demand them fix it for free because they were the ones who burnt it. If I didn't, it would cost me close to another thousand to have them repair it. So I did. I took it back to Tune the City to demand they fix it. First, the guy at Tune the City (Patrick) tried saying he never even worked on my car! I informed him that he wasnt going to get away with that lie bc I had the oil sticker and emissions sticker on my car from his shop. Then, he tried saying the boot looked like it was torn not burnt. It is clearly melted. Then, he tried saying he never charged me $1000.00. He still refused to give me a receipt! Then, he informed me that he took the car to a different place to have it aligned and that it was not him who burnt it which I never gave him permission to do nor was I notified my car would be going elsewhere. Eventually, after arguing for like 2 hours, he agreed to fix the axel for free (I do have him on video saying he would fix it for free) So, two nights ago he called me to tell me the car was done and I could come pick it up. I asked him if he put the sticker on it and he was like, "uh umm.." I was like so you still don't have stickers? He said, "yes I have stickers. Im just tired and I want to go home to my kids." I said that's fine ill pick it up tomorrow after work so that will give you plenty of time to put a sticker on it. I drove the entire way over there to pick it up and he said, "Well I dont have stickers so I sent it to another mechanic to put the sticker on and I didnt realize they close at 3:00pm so they have your car and I cant get ahold of them." So, I got back the next day to get the car. Car is finally there with a sticker! No charge, thought all was well. Im not an idiot so I took it back to midas to have them check it to make sure it was safe since this guy clearly has no integrity. And of course! It needs a front passenger axel seal on the transfer case. Its leaking transmission fluid! I just want to inform everyone not to do business with this guy. He has lied to me the entire time and caused so many issues for me. So, now I have to take it somewhere else to fix it. Don't go to Tune the City!

The people that work here should not be trusted with anything let alone a car. The guys that work here are liars and con artists. Nothing honest about anything they do.

My experience with this automotive service center has been highly unsatisfactory due to unauthorized additional work and questionable billing practices. Originally quoted $120 for a tire mount and balance, I was later charged $337, owing to the replacement of two lug studs that I never authorized. The facility justifies such actions under a policy they term “point of no return,” which essentially allows them to proceed with additional services without customer consent.Further complicating matters is the center’s organizational inefficiency. Despite having an appointment and explicitly stating the location of the new tires in my vehicle, the service was delayed due to their oversight. Moreover, communication from the business has been poor and confrontational, with the owner raising his voice during phone interactions.Subsequent to my negative review, the business appears to have orchestrated a series of positive reviews to offset the impact. I’ve reported this activity. Despite attempts to resolve the issue through the BBB and PA Consumer Affairs, the establishment has been unresponsive and has failed to issue a refund as claimed.I strongly caution prospective customers about this business’s practices, which lack transparency, customer service, and professional integrity.

I went to TNC to have my car looked at and was not happy with a mistake that was made and Patrick made sure the matter was fixed, mistakes happen and he was determined to make sure that it was corrected. Overall I am happy he took the time to make sure I was happy with the end result of things. I will do business again with them. I plan to make appointment in near future to have my car completely fixed and PA inspection ready. I trust regardless of small mistakes Patrick will always make sure things are handled and his customers are satisfied.

After my 2nd experience with Tune the City, I have to leave a review. Out of all the shops that I have been too (including dealerships) through the years, I am thrilled with the guys at Tune the City. 1st visit here was over an exhaust leak that my "other" Ford dealership said it was necessary to replace the whole exhaust system for $2200 on a car 4 years old since it was leaking from the "flex pipe back." Uh...that's a part that is NOT even on my car. I emailed Tune the City on a Friday, they looked it over the next business day and came back with only my resonator needing to be replaced, a $500+ work order. Car has run great since. 2nd visit was simple maintenance stuff, bulbs and cabin filter, same level of professionalism I received 1st time. Also did a courtesy check to make sure everything else seemed good, which I appreciated. Thank you guys.Services: Vehicle Inspection

First time customer, had two vehicles inspected and serviced including replacement of entire rear axle and accompanying parts. Price estimates were on target, quick turnaround (one day turnaround) for a big job. They payed very close attention to detail. Very polite and easy to work with staff. I would recommend to anyone in the area.Services: Steering & suspension repair

Great group of guys, very good prices, friendly and fast service. Always going to recommend them for my services. Most places will try and take advantage because I’m a female with a car. Not here. They always have the best interest for their customers and will quickly fix and explain why they did it a certain way.

I brought my car in because it was having an issue with a somewhat obscure part. The dealer wanted $2500+ just for the part. Sam did a lot of digging and found the part direct from the factory for about $1000. Installed it and saved me a ton of money. This was a few years ago, and they’ve had my business since then. Hard to find honest reliable shops, and this is one of the best
