We had a company uniform contract which was set to expire. Our Unifirst account rep (Nick) said that if we email saying we were not going to renew our contract, that they wouldn’t automatically renew it. We are still receiving invoices for the account which ended in July and the Uniforms haven’t been picked up and cleaned in months, even prior to the contract expiring. Additionally, we were told that even though we cancelled automatic renewal, it didn’t specify the date and they didn’t process our account closure until a month later. Telling us we were responsible for paying the invoices during the added time they left our account open. Tried calling multiple times but no one will call back so all communication is done through email, which i think they only check once a week based off of response times.The same thing happened when we cancelled a separate floor mat contract last year so it wasn’t just a one time situation for us.

This is by far the worst company to deal with. They refuse to ever have a conversation with business owners and then over charge and try to send you to collection. HORRIBLE

Reliable yes. If you want to babysit a company to make sure they are not ripping you off this is right up your alley. Constant price increases. I have to count my towels weekly to make sure everything is correct. They add on “required” charges that are not required.

I bought out my contract and they still tried billing me. They are extremely difficult to deal with and their services are poor. I recommend anyone else but Unifirst.

This is a reliable company with great people. The office staff I've spoken with are very nice and accommodating. More importantly, their employees in the field are outstanding. Our regular mat guy, Cody, is always punctual and friendly. He takes the time to engage with employees and communicates any changes to his schedule. Great group!

Charges for items and services not completed. Runaround to have issues addressed. Credit is promised then not given, so that amount is withheld from payment. Suddenly a bunch of "past due" bills (which have been paid) are sent.12 NOV: Called customer support who ensured me that no bills were past due. Again promised a credit which was never received.02 DEC: Spoke to the service manager, Jason. He promised that he would talk with the driver to see what was happening, ensure it wouldn't happen again, and write off the next invoice. None of that happened as he never returned my call.15 DEC: Drove to the facility to retrieve the key since the incomplete service happened again. Spoke with the branch manager, Chuck. He said the key was in the truck, not at the facility, but that he would have it brought to the store for me the next day. Yet another promise to not bill for the next service.16 DEC: Had to call since the key had not been returned and no word from Chuck. Apparently the driver has the key to my business AT THEIR HOUSE!!
