This is our go to spot for date night. Great food. Friendly staff. Hard to not finish your plate! The food is to die for. If you're looking for a nice relaxing spot, this should be on your list!

My wife & I have been coming here for years. Always a great time. Food is incredibly delicious! Hard to find true Italian cooking around here. Chef Lou and the staff are the best, hands down! 10 out of 10.

Disappointed-We arrived 7:50pm for a nice dinner and was seated in dark bar.Bread was very dry and hard, not fresh.My meal chicken Mediterranean, was mostly spaghetti w oil - no real flavor- very small portions.The part that was most unprofessional was when I called a day and a half later to just let them know about our experience -the woman who answered was completely RUDE - to me!!!!Wanted to know where I lived and said I was a scammer.Denied everything and hung up on me.After calling back I spoke with chef and owner Lou ---said he had never had anyone not be happy w his restaurant and food in 27 ? years! Said he was shocked and hurt and was too busy to talk with me.No one had ever been unhappy w his focaccia bread.I told him I saw the nice white tables online and planned a special dinner ( meal was over $100. for two) and was very disappointed to be treated so unfriendly and seated in dark bar.

Great Martinis. Great authentic Italian food. Great conversation with the staff. The antipasto salad was superb. Lemoncello too.

This Italian Restaurant is a hidden gem. I’ve driven past this restaurant so many times in my life and never ate there until recently! The atmosphere is slightly upscale with dim lighting and it was wonderfully decorated for Christmas. We had reservations and our table was ready as soon as we arrived. I would highly recommend reservations for anytime after 5pm. The wait staff was wonderful and the chef came out to make sure that we liked our dinners. All of the pasta is freshly made and it is AMAZING! The portion sizes are great. The cost is slightly above average.

This restaurant is by far the best in our area, Westmoreland County. Excellent cuisine, a variety of seafood, home made pastas, soups, and salads so fresh. Lou is the owner and chef. Favorites are Virginia Spots (only in the area), seafood la tavola, and linguine with clam sauce.Service is exceptional! Lou can make gluten-free dishes.

This hidden gem was Phenomenal!! The service was excellent. Clean as can be! Great atmosphere! Stopped to to kill some time & really enjoyed my mean. Had the Italian Hoagie & fries. Will definitely be going back ASAP to try thier pasta dishes that looked incredible!! Definitely try it. Worth the trip!!!

First time there, not planned. I wore shorts and my husband wore sweatpants. Walked in and the hostess asked if we were picking up a pizza, if so, we went in the wrong door. She was snooty, but reluctantly seated us, not informing us of the specials like she did for others that arrived after us. ALMOST ruined dinner. Anyway, the waitress was wonderful and pleasant! Food was very good and we didn't need a reservation on a Friday night.

10/10 - A perfect score in every way: an unforgettable experience, delicious dishes, warm-hearted service, and a charming ambiance.After an exhausting day, I stumbled upon this restaurant just as they were wrapping up for the night. As I began to exit, Chef Luke stopped me, guided me to the bar and handed me a menu, insisting he couldn’t let a guest leave unfed. I felt as if I was in my own living room. Two kind regular customers sitting at the bar, who have made it a ritual to dine there every Tuesday for two decades, were quick to make me feel like a part of their circle. Their camaraderie was heartwarming.I had the Eggplant dish, and it was delicious! The precision in slicing the eggplant was impressive. The flatbread was also a standout, and tasted so fresh. As the night wore on, I was the only guest remaining. Yet, Chef Luke never made me feel like there was a sense of urgency. As I was leaving, Sandy, the awesome bartender, insisted I come back and finish my drink in peace while she cleaned up for the night.Coming from a weary traveler: this establishment was the oasis I didn’t know I needed. My deepest thanks to all of you for making a stranger feel right at home. Every trip to Pittsburgh will now include a dinner stop here. Chef Luke, Sandy, and the delightful Tuesday duo – till we meet again! :)
