Absolutely trash. Stayed over a week. My room never once got cleaned. Strong smell of cigarettes in my room every day. Ended up having to leave a day early. Checked out at 6am and asked for a reimbursement for the next day. Wouldn't reimbursement me said I should have asked the night before. Said I need to give a 24 notice of early check outs. Technically I gave them a early notice. Today and tomorrow is 24 hour notice.Safety: My vehicle never got messed with but there seems to be some very questionable people at night walking around with garbage bags.

The location is the ONLY redeemable quality of this hotel.Desperate for a hotel, I called town after town looking for any vacancy in ANY hotel on our drive from Pennsylvania to Michigan, we finally found this place at around 7am. We booked and paid for the room in person at the location. Because of the very late(early?) check-in, we asked if there was a later check out than 11am, and offered to pay for it, and the worker at the front desk told us that yes, yes, yes! She would make sure that we had that. The room was exactly what one would assume of a $64/night room, which was fine, but what was unacceptable was the dirty appearance of the bathroom, the uncomfortably lumpy bed, and the sheets/pillow cases that smelled of what I can only describe as “past guests”.We got up at 11:30, and while in the shower/bathroom, were greeted with heavy rapping at the door, followed by faster and heavier knocking a minute after we yelled from the bathroom that we would be out …in a minute. Opening the door while in a towel is not something we’re accustomed to having to do, and it was very uncomfortable being spoken to in such a demeaning way, the individual demanding that we vacate the premises immediately as late check out is strictly to be adhered to no later than 11:30AM! When we said we asked to pay for late check out and that we had only checked in 4 hours prior, we were told that we would have the POLICE called on us because “we had dead-bolted the door”-but if we hadn’t, we would have been walked in on in a state of undress- and the worker barked at us that he had been knocking for ten minutes… It was literally TWO minutes from the time he started bothering us, as we heard the knocking immediately and responded by coming to the door NAKED! We received no phone calls from them, asked why not, and were then harassed to leave. I’ve never been threatened with the police before, and do not ever plan to be again.DO NOT COME HERE UNLESS YOU ABSOLUTELY HAVE NO OTHER CHOICE. If you have any value or self respect, you’d do better to stay away from this den of misery.I didn’t plan to leave a review so I don’t have any photos, but you can imagine what the cheapest room available looks like, and you’d be correct. Not Chernobyl grade, but not great.Rooms: Dirty linens and tub.Safety: Apparently it’s “against the law” to dead-bolt your door in this hotel and if you do use the lock, you may be threatened with the management calling the police because “they need to get in in case of a medical emergency”. If it’s illegal, why even have a dead-bolt on the door??Noteworthy details: Dirty, stinky, terrible customer service, harassment, threats.

This hotel is trash. I checked into my room went right to bed. Left for work in the morning and on my hidden camera there was an old Indian women taking pictures of my receipts and papers that where on my desk. I had to change all my passwords and pin numbers. Not to mention THIS IS A ROACH INFESTED HOTEL.Safety: There are fire exits chained shut . This is the real hotel California. Good luck dying in a fire.

The rooms are clean, the staff is friendly and helpful every time I stay (and that is often every 2 to 3 months) and it's right off the expressway. There's lots of nearby food options and stores, and there's a microwave and fridge in every room I've been in. The rooms aren't fancy and not everything in them is new, but for the price and the service you can't beat it!Great place and where I stay every time when I drive through the area.Walkability: There are several stores and restaurants within walking distance

Rooms were clean and reasonable price. No complaints other than the beds in both our rooms were uncomfortably hard. With some mattress upgrades we would give 5 stars.

Very uncomfortable mattress. Sheets, mattress cover, and comforter were stained. Hallway smelled like marijuana. Someone in the parking lot blaring music until about 3am. Front desk staff were nice until we made complaints and he didn’t want to hear anything what we had to say. We checked out early and went to another hotel without being able to get even a partial refund.

A very nice hotel with truck parking. Everyone at the front desk are really friendly and the service is great. There is a variety of places to eat within walking distance, and a convenience store.

I stayed in a different room, for one night at a different chain. The Red Roof Inn New Stanton, was extremely nice compared to the other chain. It was extremely clean. The front desk people were all friendly. It was recently remodeled to look nice inside and out (don't get me wrong and think the look was $400.00 pretty night type modern and fancy) but had nice clean stain free carpeting, walls, beds and sheets. It was compared to the other place a few miles down the road ten times nicer and it was cheaper. Next time I am in the Greensburg, New Stanton area I will stay at this place as opposed to any otherRooms: The room was really clean, no stains on the floors, bed, or walls.

The owners made up for the kind of run down hotel. The rooms were very clean and the beds were very comfortable. The owners worked with us very well. We would stay here again!! Good price also!!

Desperate for a hotel room for the night, my husband and I decided on here. First and foremost, I worked at this exact hotel 14 years ago when it was Quality Inn. I can assure you that the basement room that they put us in had all the same furnishings and probably the same towels from when I was there. The TV didn’t work. The linens were dirty. The room reeked of black mold and it was extremely hard to breathe. The bathroom was dirty and neither one of us showered because we felt we would come out dirtier than we were going in. Then we found yellow jackets in the room, which my husband is highly allergic to. When I tried to call up to the front desk, numerous times, no one answered. When my husband went up to speak to someone at the front desk, there was no one to be found. Whatever, we were tired and went to sleep. Upon waking in the morning we found a cockroach roaming around on the floor and immediately packed our stuff up and left. I tried calling up to the front desk again before we left with no answer as well, but what I presume to be management wandering around everywhere on their cellphones. After we left, I called to complain about everything that happened, and JP or whatever his name was, which is irrelevant because he was absolutely no help and extremely rude, he asked me to come back and show him the roach, which I absolutely was not. He told me that they have Orkin come and spray, and I’m assuming because Orkin sprayed one time, they think that’s enough to keep the bugs away. He told me that we were put in a basement room because we booked online, which we didn’t, my husband purchased a room in person. He asked why I didn’t stop at the front desk and talk to someone, but by that time I was already disgusted with my entire experience there. I would say that this place needs condemned, but then the people that actually live there, who they rent most of the newer rooms on the second floor to, would be homeless. Maybe they don’t have roaches up there? Who knows. All I know is that I will never be back and I will make sure people know what they are in for if they do indeed decide to lodge with Red Roof in New Stanton.

Stayed one night after attending the Renaissance Faire (10-15 minutes from the event). Staff were extremely accommodating, going above and beyond what was asked of them. The prices were some of the cheapest in the area, so I was unsure of what to expect as far as cleanliness. The room itself was clean with a new remodel/look. The only dirty piece of the room I had found, was beard shavings in the sink from the previous guest. Yes, it was unsightly but for the price of what you pay for the room - I expected a lot worse and it turn it was a lot better than expectations. For a one-night stay, you can't beat the price and especially the great staff. I will be returning again next year.
