The likes of Tom, a skilled watch maker who doesn't charge an arm and a leg, is getting harder and harder to find. He repaired my mechanical watch, which was stopping periodically, while I waited. This required some disassembly and lubrication. The charge: $50. Will definitely use him again.

I dropped off 14 (yes, 14) watches to Tom's shop for battery replacements a couple of weeks ago. I was very surprised I received a call the next day that they were all ready! That was quick work - thanks Tom!
