We stayed here for 3 nights. What a quiet, relaxing get away. Beautiful scenery, comfortable lodging and the hosts are so nice. The fishing was great, and there's lot's to do in the area. Would recommend going there.

My wife and I have stayed at many B&B’s and resorts along the east coast, and this by far was the most beautiful and peaceful location we have ever found. Donna, was a joy to work and took care of our every need with professionalism and politeness. The room was super clean, spacious and the furnishings were very up to date and comfortable. The grounds and gardens were absolutely beautiful and views of the lake just gorgeous. We will definitely be back! Highly recommend!

A Lesson Learned – Never Again!Very Disappointed with the stay. Sadly, this was our 30th Wedding Anniversary. But our stay will not be repeated, nor recommended. If this had been our first experience at a Bed and Breakfast, we would never give another Bed and Breakfast business a try. The fact that I emailed 3 days prior to my visit and never received a reply message should have been my warning that this would be a questionable stay. The website misleads with a view from the lake of the owner’s home, not the guest rooms. Also, with furniture placed around to sit and relax around the lake without having to walk the lawn to the “guest gazebo”. It would have been nice to sit in the sun at the lake with a beautiful breeze blowing and enjoy a glass of wine bought at the local vineyards. The “full breakfast in your room” pictured on the website is not cooked, but comprised of a hand wrapped store-bought muffin, a Lender’s Bagel, slice of cream cheese of a bought cream cheese brick, fruit, hardboiled egg, yogurt cup and juice as pre-ordered by the guest and delivered in a basket. While COVID required such flexibility, COVID is now over, and businesses are getting back to normal. Coffee was in the form of a Keurig that only ½ worked, the first cup was watery, the second strong. The second day was worse: we opted out of having a cold breakfast, making the decision to find someplace on our own, however never received a refill of K-cups or clean coffee mugs.We stayed in the “Garden Room”, while adequately appointed, came with an in-room, standing air conditioner, which was never turned on prior to our arrival, the room was 74 degrees, this unit ran all night. The coverlet on the bed was rough, felt like it was brand new, and never knew what fabric softener is. The “kitchen” set-up was in the clothes closet along with items being stored possibly for decorations at different season in the room, or for different locations in the owner’s home, again made it feel like we are staying at an Airbnb. The hosts choice to not use credit cards except to guarantee the room and as a guarantee of payment for those who must cancel, was discerning in 2023. Understanding this is a business decision, however the multiple reminders of the payment method were insulting along with the lack of a “check-in” procedure (keys and money were exchanged in the driveway), kind of made the transaction feel shady. If they were concerned with COVID, why would you want to touch cash?In summation, the grounds were beautiful, and please do not call the water a pond, we were corrected that “it is a Lake, it is over 3 acres, it means it’s a lake”, the room was nice decorated and clean. However, we were not made to feel welcome at this location, we’ve felt more welcome at hotels and had better continental breakfasts, with Keurig’s that worked and plenty of K-cups. Kind of felt like the “red headed stepchild” at the family reunion. To say we’ve felt more welcomed at an Airbnb would be an understatement.

This was our second stay at Dockside.. we chose the Island room. Luxury bathroom with jacuzzi tub and separate rain shower was awesome for relaxing. Loved the view even though it rained. Close to wineries was a plus

Stayed here in 2021 for my birthday with my boyfriend and another couple. We had a wonderful time. Great hosts, serene atmosphere, and a generally lovely area. New Tripoli is certainly a hidden gem in Pennsylvania with a few wonderful attractions to visit, this place certainly being one of them. I’d recommend visiting, I’d absolutely love to come back. My only critique is that there’s not much of a nightlife scene in this area so if you like to eat late at night I recommend preparing your own dinner or late night snacks. Other than that you will absolutely enjoy your time here undoubtedly.

I'm just getting to review the fabulous weekend my husband and I had the weekend of Oct 7th, 2022. We were celebrating our 12th wedding anniversary and stayed in the Elk suite. Donna and Bob were wonderful hosts with making sure we had everything we needed, with first checking on us before we even arrived, as well as while we were there. The room was stocked with snacks , water, and sodas. Bagels, oatmeal, eggs, coffee, tea, and juice were also supplied for breakfast. We enjoyed the gorgeous views of the property and the lake. It was so nice sitting on our private patio, sipping coffee watching the sunrise in the morning. There is also a gazebo, which is beautifully lit at night, a paddle boat, and a firepit for guest enjoyment. Be sure to check out their recommendations for local dining and things to do in the area. We had an amazing meal at Madeline's in Fogelsville! Everything from the comfortable furniture, the spa tub, and the atmosphere allowed us to have such a relaxing and enjoyable weekend. We hope to come back again soon!

My husband and I stayed here for two nights for our wedding anniversary and the place was so quaint and cute! Donna was very accommodating and got us a snack tray and champagne to celebrate. She also went out of her way to get us the coffee we preferred. Would definitely stay here again!

Booked the Garden Room for a weekend stay in the area for a baby shower, with my boyfriend. The room was stunning. Crisp and white, with beautiful furnishings. The grounds are absolutely gorgeous. The grounds have a gazebo that looks stunning when lit up at night. They also have a fire pit and a paddle boat. Donna and Bob are amazing hosts that go above and beyond. Check out their recommendations when you are there too. They are excellent. I cannot say enough great things about this place!

If you want a cold continental breakfast and don’t mind paying a lot for it at a so called BNB then This is your place ….. We stayed for My daughters wedding which was 2 miles away. Donna made the bride a nervous wreck about parking as she hounded us about the number of vehicles parked. Hair and makeup for wedding being done at BnB so Donna charged extra for us to have people get ready for wedding at BNB Breakfast was cheerios, banana coffee pod for keurig and a v small bottle of OJ along with 2 hard boiled eggs. Would not allow an iron in room. Frig froze our food as well as can of soda Donna left for us. . Sliding glass door non operable in our room. Ancient TV. Donna would not allow me a one night stay, she insisted on 2 night only which left me no choice but to stay 2. Then she rented room To my friend for 1 night. And she booked my friend in the same room as I was booked. Clearly lack of uniform policy as well as lack of organization in her booking skills. Property is beautiful yet you can only sit at pond on the opposite side of pond from house far from rooms. Nothing close to house was for guest us. No view from My room except of driveway. I would never recommend this “BNB” nor would I call it a BNB ….. clearly Donna does not know what “breakfast” should be at a BNB or how to operate a BNB
