Terrible Service. I live 3 minutes away from the post office. It should not get delayed. Seriously how much are y’all being paid to do this.? It is not that hard to drop off packages.

It was nice when the one lady that brought the mail into the mobile home park would knock on your door to assure you got your package she was always so friendly and ready to answer any questions I might have. Now granted sometimes no one would answer and the package was left on the porch, but at least it was ON the porch. Lately no one ever knocks, a few times the package has been thrown onto the porch I hear the thudding sound it makes when it hits the porch thankfully nothing was broken, the last package I received was left at the bottom of the steps I had no clue it was even out there. I get it they have been shorthanded since COVID but I no longer feel that can be used as an excuse for not giving the same customer service they did prior to that. It was always top notch before at least for my personal experiences with them it was.I seldom go inside but when I do the service is OK for the most part. overall i can only give 3 stars there is room for improvement.

Poor package delivery. Rude customer service from amy when i called in. Constantly running to the post offixe to pick up packages when i live 25 minutes away. Terrible. I wont be shipping usps unless i have to!!( this was 2 years ago) and it continues. Packages not being delivered and marked as I asked for them to be left at the post office. Being ordered to get a new mailbox and mail being withheld. Packages left in the rain. If i could fire them I would!! My taxes pay for this!?!

I use this post office on a daily basis and have come to value their great customer service! We are always greeted with respect and kindness, and our packages are handled with care. Customers receiving our packages give good reviews regarding shipping and timeliness. A special thumbs-up to clerk Penny for her advice and suggestions, as well as her acknowledgement of my children each day. Keep up the great work, Newport!

I order a lot of stuff through Amazon. Even pay for the Prime. Should have most of my stuff in two days. Why is it always being held up at Newport Post Office. You get paid to do a job, do it.

I cannot stand using the Newport post office inside because I went there one day and was waiting almost 30 minutes in line because the girl young lady working the was allowing this young man to fill out a certified letter instead of showing him how to do it and having him fill it out at one of the stands. There was also 6 other people in line that was getting very frustrated. One of the customers that was waiting in line made a comment out loud and all that happened was a smile from the person that was working behind the counter and the young man was still allowed to fill out his letter. Honestly before I use the counter service at the Newport post office I will drive to Harrisburg to a post office that knows how to deal with their customers because it would be a lot faster believe it or not.
