I have been banking with BMTC - Newtown Square location for the past 4 years. When I opened my Goddard School, choosing the right bank was a very important decision. The staff at this location have always surpassed my expectations. They are very customer oriented and responsive to my needs. The staff is warm and welcoming. Bill Kerber and Stephanie know each client by their first name. Although many transactions can be done online, I actually look forward to going into this branch. Bill and Stephanie always ask me about the school and the children. Thank you for the great service.

Unlike the other reviewers I have experienced only good things with Bryn Mawr Trust bank. I use the Paoli branch mainly but have also used the Newtown Square and Conshohocken branch and love all three. They are courteous and so helpful. Also unlike one of the reviews there were not teenagers and younger people working. They were knowledgeable and experienced. When they didn't know the answer they either called me back with the information or went and spoke to their manager. My husband and I have several accounts with them one of which is a business account. We are very satisfied with their service. Most of our business checks clear in one business day. If they see suspicious activity they either call or email us. That's more than most banks do. We are very happy with BMT bank and plan to keep this relationship for years to come. Hope this helps someone.

Rude people work for this company who have no respect for their customers, who supply the money that pays their salaries. I avoid the Phoenixville branch because the manager is one of the most obnoxious and unprofessional people I've ever met. The staff at the Limerick branch are clock watchers so they can lock the front door exactly at closing time. To use this branch I must make special arrangements to leave work early. In addition no one is available on the phone to assist with online banking issues outside normal business hours when, coincidentally, I am working at my day job, and not doing any online banking tasks. We tried to use a check from our HOE loan which was REFUSED by the merchant (how embarrassing, we had to use a credit card after all), tho we were told we would have no trouble accessing our loan money by the BMT manager. Yes. I'm currently auditioning branches so I can setup eight new accounts at a new bank before moving all of my money out of BMT. No. BMT is not a TRUSTWORTHY bank.

This is no longer a good bank to do business with. Bryn Mawr used to be a local bank run by my old Haverford School teacher (and all America Lacrosse player) Ted Peters and for a long time was a great place to bank. It was friendly and had low fees and was very fine indeed. However, Ted has retired, the Bank was sold and went public as part of a larger offering in a holding company, too complex to recite here, now trading at around $43 on the NASDAQ, and to put it bluntly, all BMT cares about is their share price. So forget about older, experienced customer service reps--they've been let go. Your average person at BMT is a high school or community college grad with very limited understanding of business. Also, their MAC network is horrendously limited--they're not on most of the national mac networks--so it costs you $3 every time you draw down money out of state. And, you cant deposit by phone or do anything on line with them. They are kind of stuck in a no mans land/- too big to be a friendly small bank, but too small to be a fast, agile, nimble techie bank. As a result, they're really not much of a good bank at all anymore. The one star is for their flagship building in Bryn Mawr, a classic stately building. I'd very much like to see it bought and renovated to be a first class dining establishment.

My experience is always pleasant when I come to this specific location. I work near there and often come in to get change. The woman that works behind the desk with the very short blonde hair is always so kind and helpful!
