We rented their XL Luxury SUV for 9 days, which ended up being a Jeep Grand Wagoneer Long Wheelbase. The customer service at the Newtown Square location was excellent, courteous, and quick.
Unfortunately, the vehicle itself was a different story. It was dirty upon pickup, with visible stains, trash, old fries, and dirt throughout the interior. It also had a strong cigarette odor that lingered for the entire rental period.
The most serious issue, however, was the alignment. The steering wheel was noticeably crooked to the right even when the wheels were straight, and the vehicle pulled hard to the right at all times. This wasn’t just annoying, it created several situations on the highway that were genuinely unsafe.
If time hadn’t been such a factor, and given the limited availability of this vehicle class (which we called over a dozen in a 25 mile radius) we would’ve returned it immediately. Again, the service itself was great and everyone was wonderful, it’s just this specific vehicle that was the issue.

This location gave me a car at the tier below what my insurance covered with no explanation. The car then did not run properly and needed its brakes replaced (which squeeled loudly every time I tried to stop the vehicle). I contacted enterprise and had to go through the roadside assistance to get a replacement car since this location is only open on Saturday mornings and not in the afternoon or on Sundays. I then spent the majority of the weekend on the phone with roadside assistance trying to correct their mistakes as they kept dispatching and recalling drivers and messing up license plate numbers of the vehicles involved. It is now Monday morning during normal business hours and the issue is not resolved but they did drop off a replacement vehilce. This one is also a tier below what my insurance covers but at least is safe to drive. I will add the new car is dirty and someone mostly peeled off the inspection stickers which Enterprise did not seem to care enough about to replace- hope I don't get pulled over because of it!

Dylan gave me a good rate on this car, which I greatly appreciate. However the car reeks of cigarette smoke and its windows are dirty, apparently due to the previous user chain-smoking. It is nauseating for me to drive this car so I will have to exchange it. I,m giving a 3 star rating because Dylan gave me a good rate.

The local Enterprise Dealer in Newtown Square, PA, was 5 Stars from start to finish.
The staff was personal, professional, patient, efficient. It was obvious that they enjoyed their jobs. The price was good.
Highly satisfied; Highly recommend.

Rented a car for the weekend and the process of reserving and modifying the reservation went very smoothly. The staff there was super friendly, and picking up and dropping up was also incredibly easy with no wait. If I need to rent a car again, I'm definitely coming back here!

Great rental experience at this Newtown Square enterprise rental. Got the car exactly what I wanted, when I arrived to pick it up at 9 AM no wait, it was impeccably clean. I really like the people that work there for their friendliness and clarity and communication communications.

Alyssa and staff were very courteous and professional. Everything with our rental went smooth and we would definitely rent from them again. This rental was thru an insurance claim and Alyssa handled everything with the insurance carrier.
Thank you

Let me start with the positive: Enterprise did deliver a vehicle to me at the dealership, and the employee who brought it was friendly and courteous.
That said, the vehicle he initially delivered—a Jeep Rubicon with 20-inch wheels—was completely impractical. At 5 feet tall, I had no realistic way of getting into it, let alone feeling confident or safe driving it. It also hadn’t been properly cleaned; there were personal items left on the dashboard, which made me question whether it had even been sanitized. I declined the vehicle, as I did not feel safe or comfortable in it.
The employee mentioned that they also had pickup trucks and other oversized vehicles available—again, not suitable. He eventually gave me a Chevy Equinox, which drove terribly. I did not feel safe in it at all. The one day I drove it was stressful and unnerving. I own a Subaru and feel 100% safe in it. If I were in an accident, I know I’d walk away. I couldn’t say the same about the Equinox, and I wasn’t willing to risk my life continuing to drive it.
That leads me to a larger question: why doesn’t Enterprise have appropriate vehicles available for customers? Why is the default option a Jeep or a pickup truck? Does Enterprise truly believe the average customer wants to drive a massive vehicle with poor visibility, questionable safety, and terrible gas mileage?
Customers expect access to standard cars and SUVs—safe, reliable, fuel-efficient vehicles with excellent safety ratings. Isn’t that what a rental fleet should include as the norm?
