Awful, I was completely ignored and waiting for over 30 minutes and never helped. Both employees working were completely rude, and I was looked up and down by one of them upon entering. Don’t come here if you want to be treated with kindness.

The women in this store were wonderful: they were friendly, professional and took their time with me to find the best option for my super dry skin.I asked the women about the negative reviews and was informed it was due to previous staff that is now gone.I have been to Blue Mercure stores in Massachusetts and New Jersey and the Newtown staff is just as wonderful.Shopping in this store is like walking into your best friends house. Ignore those old reviews, I am happy I did.

Donna and the rest of the staff here THE BEST! The team here are super helpful and are spot-on in helping me choose the best skin care and makeup anytime I come in to the store. There is definitely a big improvement in the personal service and shopping experience over the last several months. I could go to another location closer to my home, but choose to shop here whenever I'm nearby!

If you want to be treated kindly DO NOT COME HERE. I’ve been to Bluemercuries all over the country and I’ve loved them all, but this one is absolutely awful because of the management and workers. I went in with a product issue and wanted to discuss options. They provided 0 help and on top of that were beyond rude. The owner glared at us when we walked in and the when we went up front for help she started using a large piece tape as a lint roller while interacting with us. She continued to pull and tape on and off her clothes for the entirety of our interaction. It was so loud and rude. She was essentially saying “f you”. I have never felt so angry and upset after an interaction with a store. I hope Bluemercury corporate listens to these reviews and makes some changes at the Newtown store.

NEW MANAGEMENT!!! Wonderful experience today going to Blue Mercury...new management...Donna & Jess are amazing ...kind, helpful, & welcoming. Honestly I stopped going to this location because of a past employee who was really rude every time I went in...I used to just drive by and go elsewhere for my cosmetics...how awesome she's moved on and I can go anytime and have FUN again! That's how it should be!! Come one come all to Blue Mercury in Newtown!!

**New Management** Our most recent visit (March 17th 2022) was AMAZING. Our service was an absolute 180 from the last time we were there. The lady had great suggestions for skin care and seemed very knowledgable. She was friendly and apologized for the experiences we've had in the past. She seemed genuine about wanting to provide a different, more positive, inviting and friendly environment. We will absolutely be returning to the store and very impressed with the new management.

I agree with the other reviews. The last time I walked in, I was asked what do I want ? They always seemed super annoyed to have customers in their store. It is such a shame.

I’ve given this store several chances and it has a low rating for a reason. I was stared up and down as if my money wasn’t good enough (not even dressed terribly). The lady who is always there is so rude every time. I rarely come to write an online review, but don’t bother here. I wanted to give my business here as opposed to Ulta but not worth it. A beauty store is meant to make you feel, well beautiful. If this store closes in Newtown it won’t be because of Ulta it’ll be because of the customer service.

Love Blue Mercury, but this has got to be the rudest location I have ever visited. I have been three times, and each interaction I have had has been decidedly unfriendly and borderline hostile. It's as if they are offended customers are walking into the store. They are unhelpful and terrible salespeople. Today I saw them getting agitated at someone asking when a product would be in. It's like pulling teeth to get the most basic service. Very, very bizarre. Super unfortunate because it's a great shop and fantastic location.

I agree with the other posts, super rude! No one greeted me or asked if I needed help. While looking for a foundation I asked for some help in selecting one and the woman that worked there told me she didn't wear foundation! It was like pulling teeth to get information on products, I would have left but had a wedding to get to later and was desperate! I think I'll stick to the Princeton location!

Rude, very rude Consistently rude.... Not all of the salespeople but some of them You know who you are.... Go to another Bluemercury store, most are truly awesome....
